Divide and Conquer progression:
1. 1-1 Bet 1 on each dozen. If win go to 1. If you lose go to 2.
2. 1-1 Bet 1 on each dozen 2 times. If you win 2 times go to 1. If lose go to 3.
3. 1-1 Bet 1 on each dozen 2 times and 2 on each 1 times. If win go to 1. If lose go to 4.
4. 1-1 Bet 1 on each dozen 2 times, 2 on each 1 time, 3 on each 1X. If win go to 1. If lose go to 5.
5. 2-2 Bet 2 on each doz 1X, 3 on each 1X, 4 on each 1X. If win go to 1. If lose go to 6.
6. 2-2 Bet 2 on each 1X, 3 1X, 4 1X, 6 1X. If win go to 1. If lose go to 7.
7. 3-3 Bet 3, then 4, then 6, then 9. If win go to 1. If lose go to 8.
8. 4-4 Bet 4, then 6, then 9, then 13
9. 5-5 Just cont to bet 1/2 of the units on the table after a win on each dozen 4X. Win all 4, go to 1.
10. 6-6
11. 8-8
12. 10-10
13. 13-13
14. 17-17
15. 22-22
16. 28-28
Once you get past the 1st 2-2 you're just trying to win 4 times in a row to recover all losses.
The most you can lose at each level is the first bet on the double dozen.
With the strike rate of Divide and Conquer, it shouldn't be too difficult to win 4 in a row.
For those of you who have your games logged, try this on a few of them and see how it does. It shouldn't take too long to test a few and give us a report. Most of the time your bet size should stay pretty manageable.
Shoot for +10 and take a break.
LOL,
George
Here's the above bet but for 3 in a row instead of 4 in a row:
Remember, we can only lose the amount of the 1st bet at any level.
The 2nd and 3rd bets are made up by the units in the 1st bet plus our winnings.
Notice that our "If lose" column is determined by adding the 1st bets together.
If lose 1st bet 2nd bet 3rd bet if win
-2 1-1 1-1 2-2 +4
-4 1-1 1-1 2-2 +2
-6 1-1 1-1 2-2 0
-10 2-2 3-3 4-4 +3
-16 3-3 4-4 6-6 +4
-24 4-4 6-6 9-9 +3
-36 6-6 9-9 13-13 +4
-52 8-8 12-12 18-18 +2
-74 11-11 16-16 24-24 +1
-104 15-15 22-22 37-37 0
-148 22-22 33-33 49-49 0
-212 32-32 48-48 68-68 0
-304 46-46 66-66 99-99 0
We hit often enough on the 1st few bets to win our 10 or so units without having to win at every level.
Hi GLC, sorry but im struggling to understand this:
Bet 1 on each dozen 2 times and 2 on each 1 times.
Sorry can you explain the text in bold a little clearer for me.
Thank you
Lucy

Sorry to take so long to get back to you.
The basics of the progression are that we bet for 4 wins in a row.
Let's take 4 units on each dozen. That's 4-4 if we win we will have won 4 more units. Now we have 12 counting the 8 we bet and the 4 we won. Divide that by 2 and we get the size of our next bet which is 6-6. If we win the 6-6 we will have 18 units divided by 2 gives us 9-9 for the next bet. If we win 9-9 we will have 27 divided by 2 gives us 13-13, ignore the 1 extra. If we win 13-13, we will have 39 units. We started with 8 of our own and we have won 31 units. We will have recovered all our previous losses and be at a new high bank so we can start over with 1-1.
The 1-1's don't all go to 4 wins because we recover on fewer and can re-set. If you want, you can play each 1-1 level for the 4 bets.
:) ah thank you GLC much clearer now.
Cheers
Lucy
Hi GLC
Thanks for the progression on this excellent method, by the way I'm nearly finished testing over 3800 spins flat betting so will be able to look at this and report back to you
Not promising it in the next few days but will let you know when I've finished
Thanks
Gordon
Gordonline, We all appreciate the effort it takes to test any of these progressions.
I'm easgerly waiting to hear how this does compared to flat betting.
George
Thanks for the progression!

hi gordon
have you noticed another excellent progression for double dozen from the same great mind GLC which is ' iceman system adapted to dozens' thread?
what do you think?
thanks

Here's the bet for 5 wins in a row. Posted just for posterity. And so I don't have to re-figure it if I ever want to look at it again.

2-2
2-2
2-2

6-6
6-6
8-8

You can continue to calculate it further if you want. If you lose the above progression, it will be -226 units.
George,
How are you playing this on the first 4 sets of 1-1? Seems we could be there for an extended period of time. Can you provide a quick blow by blow on say the first 6 in the series with wins and losses.
Great ideas, by the way ... as always.
Best, John

How do you mean this?

How do you mean this?
Our progression is this:
1-1
1-1
1-1
2-2
3-3
4-4
etc...
Everytime we bet a level in our progression and lose it, we total the initial units bet together to get the number of units we are down and have to recover at the next level.
1. We bet 1-1 and lose so we are -2
2. We bet the 2nd 1-1 and lose so we are -2 + -2 = -4
3. We bet the 3rd 1-1 and lose so we are -2 + -2 + -2 = -6
4. We bet 2-2 and lose so we are -2 + -2 + -2 + -4 = -10
5. If we lose at 3-3 we will be at -10 + -6 = -16 and this means that we must win at 4-4 = +4; and 6-6 = +6; and 9-9 = +9. That's +19 units won, 4 + 6 + 9 = +19 - 16 we lost previously and this gives us +3 units meaning that we can start over at our 1st 1-1.

So in this case first row would be:If lose 1st bet 2nd bet 3rd bet 4th bet 5th bet if win
-2 1-1 1-1 2-2 3-3 4-4 +11Is my logic correct?

Exactly right. Every bet is built on the first bet at that level plus any wins. We always bet as high as we can.
The 3-3 level would be 3-3=3 That's 9 divided by 2 = 4.5. We round down to 4-4=4. That gives us 12 divided by 2 = 6-6 for the next bet. etc...
This is as good a bet progression as any. The negatives are that on a really bad run, you have to play a lot of spins to finally win a couple units and if you don't get your 5 in a row at any level, it's a big set-back.
A positive is that 5 in a row is pretty common with a good bet selection. But, there will be losses. :'( Also, you can always back up in the progression if you are betting in the later levels and you get 3 in a row or 4 in a row and are close to the end of the progression. This moves you back a little and gives you some breathing room.
I refer you to my last post on double dozen bets to what I think is a better alternative:

This will take you to the topic so you have to go to reply #5 to read the progression.

Another bet progression to use on this or any other 2 Dozen system.
This is akin to Lanky's 6 point divisor, but not exactly.
A = units to win
B = wins needed to win A
The formula is A/B= Amount to bet
Rules:
1. A is increased after a loss by the number of units lost
2. A is decreased after a win by the number of units won
3. B stays the same after a loss.
3a. B is increased by 1 after 4 losses (not consecutive) if still in the hole. Do this every 4 losses until we reach even or a new high bankroll.
4. B is decreased by 1 unit after each win.
5. The results of A/B follows the standard rules of rounding. Below .5 round down .5 or more round up.
6. B is never less than 3. When it should go to 2 we increase it to 6.
7. We never bet more than 15-15. If A/B = more than 15 we just stay at 15.
8. Reset everything when a new high bankroll is reached.
9. Buy-in is for 100 units. This is also our stop loss. If losing our next bet will put us 100 units or more down, we don't make the bet, end the session.
10. Any win target works. I recommend 50.
These examples are from a game I was playing betting on the last 2 dozens to spin:

*Remember after every 4 losses we add 1 to B.
This was a pretty difficult session and we ended with a +7 total. Granted we had 7 wins in a row or we'd still be digging away but with a double dozen bet, streaks of wins are common. What we need is a bet method that keeps us in the game long enough for a good streak to come along. Most sessions go much easier. I just wanted you to see how this can work when you go into a tailspin.

This progression is for continuous play or "smash and grab"
