Praying for peace achieves next to zero. In WW2 10's of millions of people prayed like never before & look what tragically happened.

Around 9 million German & Axis power military & civilians died.

Around 40 million Allied military & civilians died.

That's not too far off the entire population of the Ukraine.

N T H - Surely it's obvious that I'm saying praying doesn't work. More to the point can you show that it does ?

I just went on Wikipedia to further show why : Here's just a few of a long list of deaths with wars throughout the centuries.

Mongolia 60 million 1206 - 1324.   WW2  1939, already mentioned in an earlier post, 49 million & maybe up to 80 million? No one really knows ? 

WW1 1914 30 million. Napoleon 1882 6 million. Vietnam to 1975 3.8 million.  American war of Independence 1775 1. 3 million.

Further to the debate go onto you tube & pull up and listen closely (play it over a few times) to a song by Eric Burden called Sky pilot. It may be from  quite a few years ago but still very relevant today as it was from day 1.

There actually is evidence that can change the structure of water, and affect moods and thoughts of surrounding people. Just as emotion can do. But when a tank is about to run you over, yes praying isnt really going to help. One guy praying to god in his bedroom wont do much either. Any other emotion, such as hate, is infectious too.

If you had 100 people praying and sending out loads of "good vibes", and 1 angry guy with a tank, guess who wins.

The whole "system" of our world allows the wrong people to come to power, and takes the power away from people they are supposed to serve. There may always be "selfish" (or evil) people. The real trick is having a system that cant be exploited by them. I believe it starts wit local councils who restrict planning and development, and this creates scarcity. We have enough land for the whole world to live in say Texas comfortably. One of the problems is we are all crammed into cities.

Sorry this may be off track here. There is so much nonsense in the world going on but we are all part of the problem whether we see it or not.
