Ralph,

Thanks very much. Did you say 15,000 lines of code?  Wow!  I have VB Express 2010.  Does VB.NET 2012 come in 'Express' version?  For Win7?

I'm getting the message, "Please enter a start bet!".   Can you give an example of how you would set up the variables it needs to get going?

Stepkevh

Still,

I used the VS express 2012 for making my bot
and it runs perfect on win7 :-)

That must have just come out.  I'll look for the download!  I have VB6 Enterprise Edition if you are interested.  But between VBA and VB Express and VS 2012, what's the point!

What was the main reason you switched over to VB.NET from VBA?

Stepkevh

vba couldnt handle all the call stacks that came in and always gave a stack overflow problem.

thats why i switched to something better more advanced :-)

Oh ok.  Do you think it was because it was also being asked to process all your spreadsheet formulas, many of which are nested?  Probably we discovered the limits of VBA.

Stepkevh

could be, and also the recursive loop was a killer for VBA.
At a certain point it reached it stack limit.

Did'nt have that problem in VB.

Also, much more possibilities when you use VB.

Ok, i got .NET framework 4.5 installed and now the bot seems to be working.  I am able to pull up a spreadsheet.  However, i am asked for username and password for BV but do not have an account there.  Wasn't there a demo that doesn't require a password?

Thanks!

Stepkevh

ah no the bot always requires password because i assume that who uses the bot has an account :-)

I guess im out of luck.  I live in Obama's country.

I'm installing .NET VS 2012 Express now, even as we speak.  It looks like the biggest thing i've ever installed.  Only 1/3 finished.

So what was the hardest part about this whole bot business?  Was there some aspect of coding that was especially challenging?

Stepkevh

i think you can make an account at BV but can't deposit on it.
Because i know some that have an account an di'm sure they are from the states.

In fact this whole bot experience was challenging for me knowing that i knew nothing from coding.
Now i'm still struggling a bit with getting those coordinates right if the bot is moved to somewhere else.

But i have to admit, i'm bitten by the coding microbe :-)
Because with this bot it doesnt stop, then comes implementing other casino's.
And i had questions regarding a baccarat-bot....
So where will this end .... i dont know :-)

It can not tbe very difficult to let them use the demo which not needs an account. The fun mode on the account is better as you can save your balance.

bot is trying to place bets before the table is ready.
How can I solve this problem? Is it possible to make the speed of the bot slower?

You can use the slider, to slow down.
Some computers with some connections disturbment or other unknown things can make the bot to try before the table is ready.
Place a small bet manual and then start, it should help you. This problem use to be sometimes at some users.
