I'd prefer the newsbot wasn't there at all.

I don't like it when there is like 5 or more news from newsbot everytime I log in. I can understand how some people like it but my opinion is that it shouldn't be seen under unread topics. The people that like the news, visit that section in the forum.

What about making it a personal setting? Whether or not to show the newsbot in the unread topics.

I rather have it not show up in unread topics... my count is at 716 now.

Actually, it is supposed not to generate an unread topic  

You can always mark them read manually:

We will more likely upgrade forum engine later this year anyway when the next release candidate version turns stable.

Hi mate, yes it has plenty of new features as well as the current ones.

People is actually using it already (SMF 2.0) even if it isn't released yet.

Since this forum aims more for stability, we won't be upgrading until it is stable.

Remember the core of the forum is "SMF" you can find the features for latest package here, we then "tweak" the forum's core to suit our needs, by the means of mods and any required feature yours truly codes into it

I'm certain we keep the ones we need from this version plus any other "forum goodie" as it comes
