A Real-Money Test of the L v F System With the ExcelBot

A bit of a report on my progress..............

I was at 611 or thereabouts.  As you know, I won't say exactly.  Could have been 610 or 631.  611 is a fair statement.

I have fallen off some.  Won't say how much, but it hurt like a booger-bear.

I am not assigning blame here, but the absolute truth is that BV cuts me off regularly.  It usually happens when I'm down, so I have to pay the 10% tax just to get even.  If I'm down 90 and they cut me off, I have to win over 100 to get even.

I have also learned that if you don't shut BV down correctly and some money is left on the table, it goes to the "house".  Lord knows how much I've given them by shutting down wrong.

Now the $64,000 question:  When they cut me off and I have money on the table, do they get it?  That would really be a bummer.

The ExcelBot run over 100 Euro profit today in about six to seven hours.  Got cut off but was always up when it happened.

Very small draw down--less than $10.  As I told Nick, it was a day to make you wish you'd bet dollars!!

But which hubris do you sin for?

A 100 Euro day.  BV cut me off once.  Note the -54.  That means this trot went down 2.7 Euro TOTAL.

Yes, when I open the bot I put in 200 Euro.  I hope to win 100 before I lose the 200.

Don't know if you read this, but my goal with play money was to take 1,000 to 2,000 which I did easily.  I lost only one 200 Euro bank during that time.  I did get cut off a lot and had to pay the 10% vig just to get even, but I made the 1,000.

I said at the beginning if I could win that 1,000, my wife and I would fund the account and try for real.  We did.

I am now sitting closer to 700 Euro than 600. 

So---------the big question------------is it luck or is FLATman onto something?

I have watched this bot play for hours on end.  There is a rhyme and reason to the L v F that I have never seen in any other EC.  And it is an EC.  I am working to devise a plan to profit from this anomaly.  If I'm successful it will be a Johnlegend moment for me!! 

More on that later...................maybe!

Dangit, I lost one!!  Set it at 200 just like I said above and it cleaned my clock while I slept.  Bankroll still OK, but this is very heart wrenching!!  ("But, hey!", Groucho said.  "That's better than heart screw-drivering.")

So, as I always say, we'll see.......

Actually, I'm near 500.

In the real world, I know I'm not going to win all the time.  I will be happy to exit each month with a few hundred Euro profit.  I might not even do that!  Time will tell.

I will tell you guys something about myself:  I am a person who has virtually nothing to talk about to anyone in the vis-a-vis world.  I know nothing of sports and my politics are to the right of Ted Nugent.  So this little virtual world we live in is just great for me.

So winning would be nice, but it's having people of a common interest to talk to daily that floats my boat.  Plus, all this mental work keeps away dementia!!

Hello Sam I've been following your progress with interest.

Near the beginning of this thread you mention interacting with the bot to mitigate losses. Reading between the lines I imagine you are somehow working with the winning and losing cycles. Is this correct?

I take it the bot itself applies the bet as originally formulated. Seems funny now how we struggled to "get" it.

Yes, I did do that and it "seems" to work.  You must understand I have not worked with this long enough to make any definate staements.  I going up the learning ladder.  (Fell off twice!)

I have it set now for a win of 72 and a loss of -90.  That was the settings I used testing it.

I find that when it gets to betting 3X the normal bet, it sometimes will hit four in a row and get the profit goal.  Sometimes you only need a 1X win and you get a 3X win which gives you 2X more than you needed.  This adds up over time.

The other side of the coin is that it happens that way on the -90.  Sometimes it's -108.   So we hope it evens out over time.

Anyway, I have money in four casinos, am playing four different systems and--all in all--I'm nicely up for this Wednesday.  Hope I'll be up "Come Monday"!  (Used to sing that all the time!)

Today was a good day.  I have gained most of the 200 I lost back into the bankroll.  I will not report again until I come close to 700 Euro.  Or go just over it.
