My favorite even chance trot is to play Follow-The-Last until we have 2 losses, which means we have had 2 chops, at which time we swith to Opposite-The-Last until we have a single loss and then back to FTL.  Ignore a loss due to zero other than it counts as a loss for your progression's sake.

Instead of FTL based on a single decision, we will base it on triplets.  Here's what I mean.

If our last 3 spins were RBR, there are 2 Reds and 1 Black so we count this as a Red triplet.
BBB is a Black triplet
So, all 3 of the same color and 2 vs 1 of the same color count as the dominant color.

We flatbet for that color on the next 3 spins.

We now have the following:

RBB = B   We bet for B on the next 3 bets  (FTL)
BRB = B   We win 2 and lose 1 = +1 .  Bet on B again for the next 3 spins.  (FTL)
BBB = B  We win all 3 bets so +3.  Bet on B again for the next 3 spins.  (FTL)
RRB = R  We lose 2 and win 1 so -1.  Bet on R for the next 3 spins.  (FTL)
BBR = B  We lose 2 and win 1 so -1.  Bet on R for the next 3 spins because we had 2 chops.  (OTL)
RRR = R  We win all 3 bets so +3.  Bet on B for the next 3 spins because we are in OTL mode.
RBB = B  We win 2 and lose 1 so +1.  Bet on R for the next 3 spins.  (OTL)
BBB = B  Lose 3 = -3.  Bet on B for the next 3 spins because we had 2 in a row and are back to FTL.
BBR = B  +1  Bet on B  (FTL)
BRB = B  +1  Bet on B  (FTL)
RBR = R  -1  Bet on R  (FTL)
RRB = R  +1 Bet on R  (FTL)
RRR = R  +3  Bet on R  (FTL)
Etc...

Use any even chance progression you like understanding that you can either lose 3, win 3, lose 1 or win 1.

Option:  For those who think sets of 3 are better than sets of 1,  you might also try it with sets of 5.

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

This is mechanical and therefore it will create the same WL ratio as if you just bet on black all the time.

Sorry but its true.

soggett

this could work great with games without zero (baccarat, craps,...)

will try it, thanks :thumbsup:
To beat the game you first have to realise you can't beat the game - then comes the hard part

I can run that on the Super Roulette bot.  It is called "best of last five".  I could not make it work.

I'll save some ExcelBot spins and test it if you'd like.  Takes about a minute.  Don't know about two out of three.  May not be in the program.

Sorry DaDee, every now and then I add some truth to my comments, but mostly I just deal with new ways to approach the game.  The only game I'm ahead on at the casino is roulette.  In spite of ignoring truth on a regular basis.

The Wizard of Odds gives me a hard tiime ever so often, but where would he be if people quit gambling because the house has an advantage.

I don't mind you throwing water on my topics as long as you "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee" the way brother Iggiv does.

when I play roulette, I have a basket of about 8 systems that I like to play because they fit either my personality or my progression tolerance.  I determine to only play 3 different ones each trip to the casino.  I mix and match depending on how the wheel is spinning.
I'm taking Ivica's suggestion here.  You have to know the systems in your basket very well and be able to spot which ones would be doing well based on the trends at the time.  I know it's not very scientific and for sure the trends can change just as you jump on them.  You can't program it but I seem to be able to squeak out enough for "smokes and bread", to quote Ivo.  Of course, neither one of us smoke any more.  Right Ivo?

I'm not trying to discourage you from posting, DaDee.  Just letting you know why I'll be ignoring posts like yours on my topics.  You can always start a topic devoted to mechanical bet selection methods and why they are no better than just betting Black every time.  Those are always appropriate.  Just to remind us that all we're doing is having some fun here.

With luck, you can walk away with some chips in your pocket.  Just ask Ralph.

Cool method ...
I am cruel towards my self and saying that you are not allow to place more then three bets to jump on board a trend or domination ...
If you lose three in a row with out a hit then walk away to a new table or take a break for next attack ...
Then i notice that you hit does entering point way more often then you end up with exit point with negative expectation ...
Denial of gamblers fallacy is usually seen in people who has Roulette as last option for a way to wealth, debt covering and a independent lifestyle.  Next step is pretty ugly-
AP - It's not that it can't be done, but rather people don't really have a clue as to the level of fanaticism and outright obsession that it takes to be successful, let alone get to the level where you can take money out of the casinos on a regular basis. Out of 1,000 people that earnestly try, maybe only one will make it.

No idea why you got so offended, I have tested thousands of systems like this and they all created the same WL ratio and the same peaks and troughs.

But your explanation of having a basket of systems makes sense.

I'm not offended.
You didn't attack me personally.
Some members have offended me, like Compa, but that's because he attacked me personally.
You're free to post what you want about a topic.
I was just letting you know that I intend to ignore what you posted.

Maybe someone else will choose to address your comments.
