These were the two passages out of the original post that I took to mean that same means same and change means change.  The English is a little difficult to follow, so I might be wrong myself, but this is where it came from.

In his example he bets the opposite of what showed.  So if the 4th back is the same as the current decision he bets the next decision will be the opposite of the 4th back.  Also if the 4th back is the opposite of the current decision he bets the next decision will be the same as the 4th back.  In his example when he lost twice in a row he starts over.

Thanks for the clarification, Dennis.  I never bother to go through example spins, as I bore easily.  I guess that my variation should move to its own thread, but I'm frankly just too lazy tonight to bother, so here it will lie.
