For those of us approaching those advanced years...plus...this could be really interesting for those that English is not their first language...but numbers are all our language in this forum.

So here is an email I received today (I've seen these before but just felt like throwing it up here)...just a little different...

Here's  another trick of Doctor Dementia to test your skills...

Can  you meet this challenge?

I've  seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time I've seen it  with numbers. Good example of a Brain Study: If you can read this OUT LOUD you  have a strong mind. And better than that: Alzheimer's is a long long, way down  the road before it ever gets anywhere near you.

To my  'selected' strange-minded friends: If you can read the following paragraph,  forward it on to your friends with 'yes' in the subject line. Only great minds  can read this. This is weird, but interesting!

If  you can raed this, you have a sgtrane mnid, too.

Can  you raed this? Olny 55 people out of 100 can.

I  cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg. The  phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde  Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny  iproamtnt tihng is that the frsit and last ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The  rset can be a taotl mses and you can still raed it whotuit a pboerlm. This is  bcuseaethe huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the word as a  wlohe. Azanmig huh? Wow

This is weird...I read this without having to look at the words and try to figure them out ... As if I was reading the newspaper...

I might not be headed for Alzheimers but I might be headed for the looney bin...

Now if only I can read a Roulette Table like I read this text...

I know, and 40 years agoI thought it was a big deal when I won a spelling bee...for what...like it obviously mattered at all...as long as I can get the first and last letters right and have the right amount of characters in between I guess it's all good!!
