This book is about work of counterintelligence and intelligence. War of minds, psychological battles. What  especially interesting for me is
how people with wrong beliefs talk themselves into them and deny anything against their beliefs. And when someone argues with them, they don't even think about what they are told, they listen to their own ideas only. They easily find justification for their ideas and label their opponents easily. Such things happened on this forum as well. This is how human nature works.
