Will online casino ban you if you win too much/too often?

Hello All.

I read a lot on pretty much every casino forum how online casino will ban you if you win too much or too often... has this happened to any one of you or is it a urban legend? And if yes, was it because of winning too much or too often (and not because of "bonus abuse" or fake documents or something like that). I don't want casino names, just want to know if it happened to you (or a real live acquintance you trust).

Also, would you recommend (again for online casinos) making small withdrawals often or one big every few days in order to avoid said potential banning (if they are real)?

Thanks for the replies!

How about you don't give them a chance & only play at B&M casinos ?

William Hill group does. But they ban only from Live games. No banning from RNG, RNG will screw you up the way they like.
This banning happened to many people, including this forum members.

These stories are another proof of difference between real wheel and RNG.

Just out of interest, why would somebody from Canada (Noreilles profile says he is) want to know about on-line casinos ?

I thought you guys were banned from playing on-line ? Has something changed ?

The problem is not only getting banned but also that it may take
weeks or months to get your winnings, if u ever get them.......

Canadians can play at many online casinos.

So can Americans but getting the money in & out of the casino is illegal, I think.....

I'm sure Iggiv stated about 18 months ago that Canadian on-line casinos had been banned....

There is some confusion here. I have never said that. What happened a year or two ago was Playtech banning live games for Canada and Finland if I remember it correctly. And Microgaming banned live games for Canadians a few years before. But both Playtech and Microgaming allow RNG for them. There are some other casinos which don't accept Canadians but most do. And playing online is completely different story in US and Canada. US laws forbid online gaming for money, Canadian laws don't. But they are not in favour of online gaming like in UK or some other European countries. So the reason some casinos don't want Canadians is that they want to accept players only from jurisdictions with clear laws favouring and encouraging  online gaming. Like UK for example.

Hi all.

For your information, only live dealer feeds from playtech casino can't be played by canadians. Others like microgaming powered or Dublinbet welcome us.

I can't really play on a regular basis at a B&M casino since the closest one to where I live is a 2 hour drive, with only 2 roulette tables... and the other one is 3 hours with 7-8 tables, and I have 3 young kids at home with a fourth on the way... so I currently use one with the Dublinbet feed (which lost 2 of it's tables during december, end of contract, so it's down to 2 tables now).

I'm mainly asking if it can happen (so a yes by iggiv from one site). As for getting my money, I've had no problem so far with where I am (never really big amounts mind, but's that might change soon if my last few days hold up so...). I'm mostly curious if the casinos ban you for winning too much or too often.

Too often is easy to "cheat" kind of: either go in with canons blazing and win as much as you can as fast as you can (by playing a higher base unit) and when they ban you (after a few weeks hopefully) you've made a lot; or lose on purpose sometimes (or not on purpose depending on your system...); or limit your playtime there.

Winning too much is kind of harder to cheat (and how much is too much???), unless you have access to lots of casinos where you can win a little each time, which I'm not sure I have access to... I know of another one I could go to which uses the same feed but is not owned by dublinbet. The microgaming casino I havent tested recently... and I'm not so sure I like them, since you have maybe 15 seconds to place your bets, and THEN they spin the ball... always makes me wonder

So let's ask the question another way: are any of you regular winners at live dealer games (hopefully roulette), and if yes how do you manage it and for how long have you? Big wins (500+ each day played), small wins (100- each day played), med wins, and how often do you withdraw money from them and how much each time (big, small, in between). Again, I don't want casino names and detailed finances, any ballpark would be greatly appreciated. If it's too much/personnal info, simply a yes/no and for how long (weeks, months, years) will still help!

Noreilles, did you check Microgaming live games yourself? Check this article. Although it is more than a year old and anything could happen since then.

Lol... thanks for the info, as I said I haven't tested recently (as in a little over 2 years ago it would seem). That leaves evolution gaming (I think), they provide feeds to 888 or party (casino), william hill also I think... and maybe more independant ones (like Celtic). SOrry to name casinos, don't know if it's against the rules or not, if it is simply delete the post, I don't plan/want to make any publicity.

It's Ok.
Dublinbet, Castlecasino, casino777.be, victor chandler, smartlive, a few others

@Ddarko - I play mainly at BM so don't have this problem. But the rumour is that some online
casinos will try to find all sorts , excuses to avoid payments. I will post an interesting link concerning this
fact very soon.
