I am not a greedy person i only aim for 20 units profit per day, every day, i play online, including rng, i fear neither, i can, sometimes spin thousands per day (fast play rng) i have done for years, i must have faced the 'long run' head on, i only play 4-5 roulette bets and only ever 1 at a time, has always seen me profit well.
Today, my very first bet of the day, it was like i was 'sure' (or just impatient) so broke my own strict rules, the result, my bank of 500 units going down to 325 units, Ouch, not good, the aim was 520 not 325, so i set to work correcting myself and what stupidity i had done, end result, original bank 500, end bank 490, ok so i didnt get back to 500, or make 520, but from 325, 490 seems a good result to end the day.

Lesson learned there i think.

Self-control is the hardest thing to learn.  The first time we lose control of ourselves, it catches us off guard.  We're often very shocked at how ridiculous we acted.  You're right.  It is good that you didn't lose everything.  I was afraid at the beginning of your post that it was going to end badly. 

Having said that, I'm with RG.  Care to share how you're playing that produces such excellent results?

Sometimes you play sessions like you do 20 a day. Now say that you win 3 days, 60 units and then on day 4 lose it all. Thats the hard part, it hurts to see your days of work wiping away. So i prefer a system that starts with 20 and makes 40, 60 or 100 and not only just a small profit. Some people say go for 20% 30% from your startbank as win target, but to get fair results it should be 120/130%. I know its difficult

I am confident i could play and win 100 units a day, so why don't i, well, A. i am not greedy and B. i don't even like roulette that much really, but i do enjoy the £ lol. I must stress i don't usually hit a loss of 175 units on one betting chance, it was my carelessness and stupidity, fortunately i was able to recover a majority of it the same day

I think you have a much better chance to win if you don't actually enjoy playing.  There is a much better chance that you quit when you should.
