I haven't been to any of these places. I've spent time in a small town in Germany, Copenhagen, and very small town in Sweden, Canada, the Caribbean, and most of the U.S. Rome is on my wish list, but I'm not considering overseas travel right now; there's too much unrest going on internationally.

I have experienced  4 of the cities you have on your list. Vienna, the most charming of  them  all , I spent 9 months there.

New York City, any given small town in Germany and the same for Switzerland. Take a plane to London and then train the rest of it. Terrorist type unrest doesn't  happen n small towns.
