Fact is not personal preference. Neither is opinion. Is the solution to a mathematical equation an opinion?

Stoploss is an important tool for those that use "systems"

You can say "well then the system doesn't work if you can't win everytime"

That opinion is fine

But its silly to bash a stop loss. It is responsible to have one.

"Facts" are not always one size fits all

*pounds chest* "opinion is not fact"
the key to winning with systems : play for a statistically irrelevant number of spins

lol.
Writes those two lines down.
Facts are always facts though. 1 + 1 is always 2 - regardless of opinion or whatever option you throw at it. And this is a math game. Match is fact. - it doesn't sway and change to help or hurt players in casinos, it's always constant.
Opinion can certainly be fact - if facts are being presented. If I say 1+1=2 and you say "well, that's your opinion" - it doesn't make any sense. Just accept that the answer is 2 and keep working.
I stick with my racer analogy - "start in the middle and work your way to the front - if you ever get in a position worse than 4th, STOP running and try again next week."
It's nonsense, you end up losing more than you ever could have by not stopping.
You don't start the next race in 4th place also - you'll start at the very back.    :'(
It's also not smart at all to play a losing method until you lose your whole bankroll.
That's not what I'm saying.
But to pick some predetermined point to stop and then starting again some other day does absolutely nothing to change the outcome, it just delays it - which might 'seem' like winning ?

I understand your logic. and I get where you are coming from.

But I believe there are methods out there that win long term because of the stop loss

losing sessions? yes

I am sure you have losing sessions as well....

Watch us big doggs, the MEN, play at a REAL casino, on a REAL table. All we ask is that you stay out of our way. The rest? Bots, airball, RNG...that's more for the Kitty Kat Klub. Its the big doggs and the kittens!! Winning is not an event, it's a process and it takes YEARS and YEARS to master > link:://:.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014127/rs_560x415-140227131132-1024.bulldog-kittens3.jpg... To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated and misunderstood.

out of experience and practice comes this: talking about average events (most frequent events that happen) before comes a certain loss there is a chance of recovering it during a session. After this limit is over, and you get loss again there is most likely no chance to recover it, you will go down deeper and deeper almost for sure. You have to figure it out with practice and experience, you have to get feeling of it to know. It takes time and patience. And you don't always have to play real money.
