Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

Was running some simulations on dozens, and how often they hit.  Found this kind of interesting:  after 1000+ spins, a dozen would hit in the first 6 spins 90% of the time.  So, a mild progression could easily overcome this.  It's just the 10% of the time we have to worry about.

Something else I found is if a dozen goes missing more than 6 times before a hit, the chances it will go more than 6 times right after that is only 1%.

Trying to work up a good progression, stop loss for this.  Any ideas welcomed

No progression needed.  Wait for a dozen
to miss six consecutive times flat-bet once.

Win-or lose start over with new tracking numbers.

Bankroll: three units.  Stop on a win or after three missed attempts.

I tested this idea for an hour (paper bets only)

Judging by what you found

If you have a dozen mix 6 times, wait until it hits, then wait until it misses again then bet it

A single dozen progression is safer then a double dozen one

Or use proofs idea. The only thing about proofs idea is you may only get a couple of bets per house. Lots of waiting.

Even at the 1% loss rate a 12 step profitable progression for single dozen bets is too costly. You will lose all your winnings and your bankroll in the end.

IMO, you should not push the progression to 12 losses. Better to absorb losses earlier at 8 or 9 failed attempts, then find another way.

... and don't tell me you are going to wait for  6 losses, please.

Notice how often it was 2nd or 3ed bet.

I grabbed some results and got a hit on the 3rd, 4th, and 4th.

So I lost. Might need a longer wait.

If indeed those stats look good, you might want to use a modified version of the lifetime progression or a cyclic progression.

One clarification on the stats though. Assume 1000 such instances where a dozen goes missing for more than 6 spins. Are you saying that it goes missing
for 6 further spins after it reappears has happened in only 10 instances and the remaining 990 instances it has appeared within the next 6 spins. Is my understanding right?

And thank you, you gave me a system idea. I will try playing around with that idea and then share if it is good enough.

Consider after 1000 spins of the wheel we have a total of 300 hits on a dozen.  270 of those hits will occur in 6 spins or less (90%).   There will be 30 times that it will take more than 6 spins to get a hit (10%).....out of this 30, there would only be 3 times you see back to back >6 spins (300×10%×10%)

I've seen systems on the internet that include betting doz  1 with prog once wins switch  to doz 2 and so forth i
