There was a death today of a player who devoted his entire life on roulette. His name is Brian Ward. He had posted here before, but I forgot under what name. I met him in July 2013.

Here is an email I received from him when were first spoke:

"Hi Kimo,

Yes it is true that I am obsessed with roulette. I love the challenges presented by the wheel.

No I am not going to publish although I have thought of doing so and would love to hear of your experience.

Yes.!! I have a tracking method that enables me to win consistently. It is extremely easy to understand even by the newcomers to roulette.

I can only agree with what you say regarding attitude, the end result is all that matters.

I live in Manchester England. I am 72 years old, Have a large family but live alone, and am never bored or feel alone.

wardy"

Brian Ward is the inventor of square roulette.
"Brian passed away at 3:10 this afternoon peacefully in his home, where he wanted to be."
He lived in the UK. He was 76 years old.

RIP

RIP ...so he kept the secret to himself?

Kimo Li

No, he shared it with one person on this forum, not me. I told him I did not want to know because I have my own approach.

RIP Brian Ward.

I speak to quite a few different people on my casino visits and hardly any of them even know that roulette forums exist.  I can honestly say I have met one person in the last 5 years who knew about Turbo's old site and had tried a few of his methods. In a way forums can be more a hindrance than a help if you go jumping from studying one method to another every other day. It's like starting again from fresh every time. I think it was Einstein who said he spent 95% of the time thinking about a problem and the other 5% solving it. He makes a good point and it wouldn't surprise me if someone who sticks with the one idea until he gets it right is better off than jumping all over the place looking at everything.

Wasn't Einstein who also said that the only way a gambler can win roulette is to double his bet after every loss, so that the first win would recover all previous losses plus win a profit equal to the original stake ? -:)

Could you share your "own approach" with us?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

Kimo Li

No, this is not about me. This is about Brian Ward.
I believe he posted on VLS, under the name Wardy03.

Andre Chass

I really can not understand why a person participates in a forum, says he has a good system but doesn't want to share.

I have not participated on this forum for quite sometime. Some people may know Brian Ward.
Out of respect to a fellow roulette professional, I announced his passing. I have no interest in talking about roulette here.

There was a poster here from Manchester UK. I live here too. We planned to meet up in a Casino.

Let me see if I can remember who he was.
