Hi, new to the forum. I thought some of the very well seasoned roulette players could help out with this idea, it's a progressive line bet. The way I play it just now:-

Bet 1) Place 1u on the current line hit, or the unhit line within the dozen hit. If hit back to bet 1. If lost, proceed to bet 2.

Bet 2) Re-bet the current line lost, again with 1u. Then add the next line hit or unhit with 1u. If hit back to bet 1. If lost, proceed to bet 3.

Bet 3) Re-bet the 2 lines lost and add the 3rd line that's hit or unhit within the dozen. Now double bets for 1 spin (18 numbers covered) and STOP. Back to bet 1 if hit.

If lost the 3rd bet then you can either try double bets once more or change to d'alembert and restart procedure with 2units, then 3u etc, which recovers very quickly.

That's pretty much how its played, I've won and lost with this, as all systems do. But I think it's got potential as it always seems to scrap good profits whilst not requiring a hefty bankroll.

It would be good if any of you guys could think of improvements with it, e.g triggers, changes in bet selection etc. I'm trying to minimize drawdowns and keep the bankroll steadily going upwards! I believe there is a way haha or not.

Sounds interesting. By a line I assume you mean a 6 number bet, a so called transversale simple?
Do you have a Target and stop-loss?

Hi and welcome,
Betting on the last 3 lines , or on the last 5 streets it not
a bad idea with good MM, but on long run we al know....

Try this betselection and progression:

Track lines and positions between same group of  lines
Ex.

636  here we have hit position 2  between same line (6)
5245  here ............................3 ...........................( 5)
22   .....................................1..............................( 2)
4544..................................2 and 3 and 1................( 4)
56135.................................4.................................( 5)

Consider first 4 positions the important ones.
Track until you have at least 2 positions ( from that 4) that
are missing for at least 5  spins, then attack the lines
in that positions. So change the lines to bet next according
with the positions you attack.
Optional,
If you want to bet 3 lines then add one hot line to that bet,
or bet other position (hot one).

Ex. bet two pos:

Line  /  pos

5
2
2          1
3
6
5          5
4
3          4, bet pos 2 and 3
....................................
3          1, L1
6          5, L2
1              L3
6          2, W

Bet for max 4 spins , W or L4 retrack.

Progression combo negative/positive , levels.
Rise level after W session, down level after L session.

1,2,3,5 / 5,10,15,25 / 25, 50, 75, 125.

or other

1,1,2,3 / 5,7,10,12 / 15,20,30,40 / 50,70,90,120.

Reset at new high, or reset when close to last high .

cheers

I used to play the last 3 DS hit

I was lucky for awhile

But like all systems it loses eventually

Just need good money management.
the key to winning with systems : play for a statistically irrelevant number of spins

6th-sense

think about it logically ..your betting this way for all numbers..think of the inside of the ds..only so many numbers out per cycle..so many repeats....is there a tipping point?..
the average unhits are 12.and thats only an average...in this bet your including everything ...numbers that won,t hit full stop..just my two pennies worth  :)

Let Me Win

Forget bet selection as it has already been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that all bet selections are equal.

The same applies for triggers they really don't exist!

Just concentrate on the staking plan side of it.

Steve

Actually you have it backwards. Money management is useless. Bet selection is critical.

All bet selections are equal no?

Assuming we're talking about clasical systems and not AP methods.

Stevof1

Thanks for the response and ideas.
I usually play this DS bet with 1u and 100 BR. Target is usually 20units.

Do you think waiting for triggers is a good idea? I think it aids bet selection but every spin is a new event.

Different types of bets have different odds, but with rare exceptions same house edge. Basically correct, all bet selection with typical systems are worthless.

Then progression is also worthless, because it is just random bets with random bet size.

Then triggers are also worthless, because they change nothing. The odds are still the same.

Thats why I keep saying you must increase accuracy of predictions. Otherwise you're just making random bets, while thinking there's some workable logic to your system. That means the guy next to you making random bets is no better than the guy with his system. Who wins for the night? Comes down to luck. And if one uses progression, because it can give short term winnings before dumping you.

All been said before. Around in circles. Few learn.
