de Blasio is creating the perfect storm right now in New York. He decides to "fight" crime/problems by defunding the police and actually creates more problems. The violence (gun violence and homicides) is through the roof, like hundreds of percentages higher than it should be, because of his war against law enforcement. Also, there is at least one new bogus law in place to prevent cops from doing their jobs. The New York cops are even saying that if someone resists arrest, they will just let them go, because the new laws are confusing and prevent the police from using any force whatsoever if someone resists.

Since the cops are being defunded, what was going to be new recruitments for them are cut off. Since cops are being attacked by everyone, many have retired.

What is the real truth and how does one find it? There are so many sources that contradict one another, but I suppose there are similarities as well, e.g., most religions have the same fundamental ideas. Many people, like Alex Jones, appear to put profits above the truth. I can’t say for sure, but I read an article about him pretty much painting a group of people as terrorists (knowing that they weren’t), pushing a stereotype, just to create a sensational story, for profits.

What is the real truth and how does one find it?

For me it started decades ago watching people run for office, make promises, and then checking their actual voting record. From just that you can tell if you were lied to.  You of course have to remember who lied to you and who carried water for them in the media.  Today it's all about your own set of facts. Add to that for three generations of schooled kids you have the mind control thing where they are taught that there are many truths and they are all subjective. They even teach that truth is a weapon that keeps the establishment in power. So they are actually desensitized to real objective critical thinking.

Real truth is not a weapon to cause you harm. And this BS game of catching liberals in their misdirection and hypocrisy is a joke too. It's just a straw man argument to keep the other side occupied while they go about wrecking everything.
