Hi Guys
I am looking to win 4 units only per session, with a stop loss of 8 units, on a regular basis.
I'm looking at flat bets or a 1-2 positive progression perhaps.  This is a 10% return on total BR.

I was wondering if any of the chaps could point me in the right direction regarding bet selection as I've hit a wall with the regular bets.
Also, I'd look at triggers to bet although some don't believe in them

Thanks a lot

Hi Spinner

Look a bit at James Albert Wendel explanations on winwithmath it is  caused quiet controversy
here ;D.

Try and understand it and experiment with it and you will be amassed.

Hello dear Spinner,

I get the impression you are doing outside bets and not doing too well.

Have you thought about betting straight-up numbers?

The higher payout can help and your win goal can be higher (of course, the bankroll per session too).

If we help you find what you're looking for, please share with the rest of us since we're looking for the same thing.  I'll take 4 units every day in a heart beat.

I've seen a few guys try to win just 1 unit every day.  It works pretty well for a while, but then comes that day when you never see plus territory and sets you back a lot of days.

Here's a possible way you could play.  Wait for a sequence such as 5 or 6 Reds in a row, or RRBBRR, or RBRBRB, or a pattern of your own choosing like RRBRRB and bet 1 unit that it will break.  So if RRRRR, you bet 1 unit on Black.  If you lose, wait for another betting opportunity and you have 7 more opportunities.  If you win a 1 unit wager, bet both units the next betting opportunity.  If you lose, start over at 1.  If you win a 2 unit bet, you will be ahead by 3 units, next bet 1 unit.  If it wins, you have won 4 units.

If you lost some units before you win 3 in a row, you can bet 1-2-2 for a five unit win or 1-2-3 for a 6 unit win or 1-2-4 for a 7 unit win.  Or you will have to lose 8 attempts.  This could a least keep you ahead for the month.

One more thought.  There's an interesting bet based on winning a certain number of times  before losing 2 in a row that has some merit.

You would need to commit to a stop-loss of 3 units or multiples thereof.  The way you play is to select a betting situation as per above.  You divide your units into 2 bets.  Anytime you lose 2 bets in a row that's the end of the attack.  You either try another attack or wait until tomorrow.

With 3 units you divide it into 1unit for the 1st bet & 2 units for the second bet in case you lose the 1st bet.  If you win the 1st bet, you add the unit won to your bank and now you have 4 units to divide into 2 bets.  This should be 1 & 3 because if you lose the 1st bet you want the second bet to win more than you lost on the 1st bet.  If you split 4 into two bets of 2 ea and lose the 1st bet and win the 2nd bet, you are even and have to play the series over again.  If you bet 1 unit and lost and then bet 3 units and win, you have won 2 units to add to your total which will be 6 units.

Divide 6 units into 2 and 4 units and play 2 more times.  If you win on either bet, you add 2 more units to your total and divide it into 2 bets.  Keep going until you either lose 2 in a row or reach an amount you have predetermined.

The author of this system suggested using a bank of 9 units.  Always dividing it into thirds.  Betting for a change of color each time.  Bet 1 third the 1st bet and if you lose, bet 2 thirds the second bet.  A win on either bet adds 1 third to the bank.  By betting for alternating colors, you continue to win until you get 3 in a row.  This will end you run.  If you win 11 times in a row without hitting 3 colors in a row you will have turned your 9 units into 203 units (I think it was 203, I know it was  a little over 200).

You can read about this and other systems by Googleing the Monte Carlo Anecdotes which can be read on-line.  It's and entertaining read.

Good luck my friend,

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Many Thanks Chaps!
If I do find something that works to my criteria, I'll let yo know.

I have another solution for it. keep looking for long streaks like RRRRRRRR or RBRBRBRB and bet on the streak to continue only once and be it one unit profit or one unit loss, do not bet again and wait for another trigger like this. 8 units can't be a good bankroll but with this much bankroll, you can't do more. Flat betting only. I would rather advise you to break your units into smaller units. Like if you have $8, you should rather play with 10 cents as a unit, this way you would have 80 units to risk. Do not ever keep a winning target of more than 1/3rd of ur bankroll(the money you can risk to lose in a session). Your winning target of 4 units while risking only 8 units (50%) is  unrealistic and impractical.
