As some of the last discussions were about books/ roulette books I asked myself if maybe a special section for book reviews or book recommendations would be a nice idea?

what do you guys think?

cheers

This section could cover all those area's I think, by adding a little to the description?

FEATURES.
Documentation and tutorials on forum's features.

Instead:-

Documentation, Books and tutorials on Roulette & Forum's features.

Good idea.

You'd need to PM Victor.

But not at the moment -- the poor lad needs to get The Tool off his plate, first   ;)

@ Esoito.

I'm sure he will catch up with it sooner or later.

If its worth doing, we can wait eh?

Maybe Paul has that type of Admin permission too?

trust Ur well Buddie.

Having a separate section for discussing roulette books and systems and their reviews by members is more than necessary in any forum. This will help everyone and protect from scam.

hanshuckebein

thanks for your input so far, guys.

I could go along with chris' suggestion, still I would prefer a seperate section.

the more  this forum grows  (and it sure does ) the more grows the danger that important information somehow disappears somewhere 'in between'. and information that exists but is hard to find is almost as useless as no information at all.

by the way, this is a perfect example for growing entropy.  ;)

from my own work experience in the field of knowledge management I know that it is a lot easier to direct incoming knowledge correctly than rather to collect it and try to sort it out later.

I appreciate what Ur saying here Hans, and I actually fully agree with U.

I was looking for a 'Quick-Fix' solution since the "Book Review" was for this moment, and I could sense Ur dilemma.

I think the whole Forum front Home page could do with a "Home Edition Style - Make Over".

Maybe in the Spring, when the contents of:- "Work in Progress" paper tray as gone down somehwhat!
:embarrassed:

I vote a resounding yes Hans for a book section. Thank you for a most useful suggestion.

As a newcomer to this forum, I've found the learning curve slow.

Two of the most helpful posts that I read were the Brett Morton thread and being able
to download the Thirteen Against the Casino.

So thank you for your suggestion.

Do you think we should call the section books- media?

Is there enough literature that's been published on Roulette?

Warm regards,

Canuck

hanshuckebein

@canuck

thanks a lot for your support.  :)

I guess there are lots of books about roulette and/or gambling in general. you could just google to get a first impression.

I also have been  thinking of books and media about chaos, randomness, math etc., I mean anything that could help us forward on our "journey to beating the wheel".

still, the final decision about a new section is of course victor's. so victor, if you read this and find the time to reply ... let's hear it.  :)

cheers

hans

Hello dear friend, I could make a child-board in the roulette and gambling framework section.

In terms of sections, we are already complete. The main index is full.
🡆 ROULETTEIDEAS․COM, home of the RIBOT WEB software, featuring Bet Selection and Money Management modules with a MULTI-LANGUAGE programming interface! ✔️

Victor,
It would be I think sufficient to have a sub-section or child-board as you say for this purpose.

hanshuckebein

Victor, this would be just great. thanks a lot.
