Howdy friends and neighbors,

Just when you thought I couldn't come up with another bet method, up pops Threes Please.

This is a very safe bet method. It is played on the Even Chances, but of course it can be adapted to any bet location of the table.

This is actually a modified Alembert bet method.

You can also think of it as a modified martingale.  This is true of all negative progression bet methods.  They are all modified martingales.

The goal of this bet method is to win 3 more times than you lose.  A secondary goal is to not lose 1 more bet than you win at any level.  If you lose 1 bet more than you win, you must move 1 step to the right on the progression line.

Here's the bet line 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-8-12-16-22-29-39-52-69-92.  As always, I stop my progressions before 100 because my airball machine only allows bets from 1 to 100 units.

Okay, here's how it goes.  I start by betting the 1st level which is 1 unit.  As long as I win betting 1 unit on the 1st level, I stay at the 1st level.  As soon as I lose at the 1st level, I go immediately to the 2nd level.  On the 2nd level I must win 2 more than I lose to reset to the 1st unit.  If I lose the 1st bet, that's 1 more than I've won so I have to move to the 3rd level.  Which is also a 1 unit level.
If on the 3rd level I win my 1st bet, now I have to lose 2 times before I have to go to the next level.  If I get ahead by 3 wins before I get behind by 1 loss, I will be at a new high and can reset to the 1st level.  If I get behind by 1 loss, I must move 1 step to the right and play that level for up 3 vs down 1.

That's it.  The progression is designed to leave you ahead of your last highest score if you ever win 3 more times than you lose on a level.

Do you have a good even chance bet selection method you like, try it with this progression and see if the two together don't give you a very good chance to win.

For a more aggressive game you can create at bet line for getting ahead 2 wins before getting behind 1 loss.

For a less aggressive game you can go to 4, 5 or more wins ahead at each level before resetting.

You can also modify the line to win more units on a win than this one and you can extend it past 92 units all the way to your table limit if you wish and have the bankroll.

It's always move 1 step to the right when you're behind 1 loss on each level.

That's it.  I use the Author's bet selection method since it's my new favorite for right now.

Give this a test run around the track and see how it performs.

Cheers,

George

The following is just an example to show you how to use the bet line.  These are not based on any real spins, just artitrary wins and losses to demonstrate betting.
Bet line 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-9-12-16-22-29-39-52-69-92

1     W      +1       1 unit win on 1st level.  New High so reset
1     W      +1       1 unit win on 1st level.  New high so reset
1     L       -1         1 unit loss on 1st level.  Go to level 2
1     L       -2         1 unit loss on 2nd level.  Go to level 3
1     W     -1        1 unit win on level 3.  Continue betting level 3
1     L      -2         1 unit loss on level 3.  1W & 1L cont on level 3
1     L      -3         1 unit loss on level 3.  1L more than W go to level 4
2     W     -1        2 unit win on level 4.   Cont betting level 4
2     W     +1       2 unit win on level 4.  New High so reset to level 1
1     L      -1         1 unit loss on level 1.  Go to level 2
1     L      -2         1 unit loss on level 2.  Go to level 3
1     L      -3         1 unit loss on level 3.  go to level 4
2     L      -4         2 unit loss on level 4.  Go to level 5
2    L       -6         2 unit loss on level 5.  Go to level 6
3    W      -3         3 unit win on level 5.  Cont betting at level 5
3    L       -6         3 unit loss on level 5.  Cont betting on level 5
3     W     -3        3 unit win on level 5.  Cont betting on level 5
3    W      0         3 unit win on level 5. Only ahead of losses by 2 wins. Cont betting on level 5
3    W      +3       3 unit win on level 5.  3 Wins ahead of Losses.  New High reset to level 1
etc...

That's the basics of it.
You play each level until you are at a new high at which time you reset to level 1.  Or you play each level until you are -1 bet at that level at which time you move one step down the bet line.

The bet line is calculated so that whenever you are ahead by 3 wins at a level you are at a new high.  You can also play to move 4 steps to the left on the bet line if you win 2 times more than losses on a level.  This can help you move back to the left if you get to some really high bets and you don't want to risk going for 3.

Remember, this is a modified martingale and can be dangerous.  Please read the following:

Use at your own risk.

I have another bet line based on losing 2 times more than you win at a level to move 1 step further down the bet line or win 3 times more than you lose to reset at level 1.

1-2-3-5-8-13-22-37-61-100

It's a shorter line, but remember, you must lose 2 times more than you win before taking 1 step to the right.

Even though it climbs faster than the threes please line, it's harder to have to move to the right.  The thing that kills both of these systems is a long stretch of losses because you find yourself moving very quickly toward the larger bets.

Another tweak on the 3's please bet line.

Remember on the 3's please bet line 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-8-12-16-22-29-39-52-69-92 we have to win 3 more times than we lose at a level to be ahead and be able to start over.

This new bet line is just a little different but it's designed so that if the bets are getting a little too large for your liking, you can move to the left 4 steps if you get ahead of losses on a level by just 2 wins. 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-7-10-14-19-26-35-48-66-90.

This bet line is identical throught the 1st 9 bets, but then it stretches out a little each bet until we finally lose 1 bet and still stay under 100 units.

I like the second one better because it gives us an extra measure of safety.
