A serious question:

Having read all of the above then WHY does anyone bother with casinos at all?

Wouldn't it be more sensible to trade FOREX? Or shares?

From experience I have lost a lot more with Live Wheels than with RNG.
I still prefer Live wheels though, but I play RNGs more often.

Just like at a casino, you can lose your shirt.  Too many Bernie Madoffs around.
Either way is gambling.   Wall Street has better PR.

Not really.

Most people do not have the equipment or time or experience to INTELLIGENTLY trade Forex or even the basic stock market.  They do not have to requisite experience to actually trade stocks.

Don't let the ads on TV for E-Trade or Ameritrade or any of those "self-directed" trading accounts make you think you understand the markets.

I used to think like that and balked at paying the 1.15% fees on my portfolio but once a real professional took over, it made my feeble attempts at the stock market look like the stupid idea it really was.   I had never even HEARD of half of the things we were buying, selling and working with.

This makes his 1.15% fee the best bargain I ever paid, and it's a substantial amount and I have no problems with him getting that money.  He's earned every penny of it and allowed me to continue to grow my retirement portfolio even while living off of it!

I could have never done that myself and I doubt 99% of the "self-directed" investing accounts do it either.

AD (and that's why I don't do Forex or the stock market on my own)

@ADulay

LoL -- sounds like you might get a few messages about how to contact 'your' professional!

Geeze...
I have traded the forex market.
And would like to know what this dude is doing.
Or what he charges.
Or how he does it.
Or how to contact him.

Well, for starters, we don't trade Forex at all.   There is a small percentage in the portfolio of money instruments to trade but us "normal" people don't have access to it.  It's strictly managed money that gets traded.  You and I can't do it.  The institutional investors can.  That's one of the main reasons you get a good money guy.  His company has the access to instruments that only they can use.  The normal investor is shut out completely from a large assortment of good yielding investments.

I'm sure he's US only, so those out of the country are out of luck.

His minimum amount to come in is a $1,000,000 US portfolio or close enough to it assuming you've got a good timeline on the horizon.

If your retirement portfolio is in that range and you're a US resident, I'll be more than happy to forward his catalog to you.  He is based in Florida and currently attached to Morgan Stanley.

Gentlemen, for the longest time I thought I knew what the hell I was doing in the stock market.  I was a fool.  What we don't know would fill volumes and volumes.   The first time I sold stock under a "covered call" I was amazed.   Yes, I was going to sell it, but these guys told me HOW to sell it correctly, and make about $50,000 extra dollars at the same time.

That's what they get paid for!

Everybody is an expert in the "market" when things are going good.   Everybody balks at paying "outrageous" fees to a good broker.   I was like that and refused to do it for a very long time.   Luckily I stumbled on to this guy at the golf course and followed up on it.   Haven't look back since.

If you're actually planning on getting a decent money advisor, be sure and interview several of them.  If you're not comfortable with the guy handling your major money, you won't listen to him when he says to sell something that most people will be holding for another 3 months.  If you're going to fight him on every new transaction, you'll be wasting your time and his.  It is best to find someone local to you so you can drop in and ask questions and do updates, reviews and see just what your portfolio is doing in real time.

PM me if you're serious and I'll forward the information as this thread is still about RNG/Live wheels and not retirement portfolios.

I do feel funny about talking about this stuff here as a gambling forum is not the place to really be discussion your retirement distributions and the like.
