Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

considering some people having losses with R/B on pattern 4 with roulette.

How about this modified turbo version of P4 with a matrix of 4 or 5. the probability is better for us, when using a larger matrix. A matrix of 3, is only a combination of 8, and our pattern we are betting against can repeat again. from baccarat(can be applied to roulette R/B)

"" Odds of seeing a pattern of 5 repeating in the next 5 hands in a shoe?
What are the odds of seeing a pattern of 5 repeating in the next 5 hands in a shoe (approx. 70 hands) not counting ties. Example, ppbbp bpbpb what are the odds of seeing bpbpb next? Thanks.""

progression: 2,4,8,16,32

e.g.

matrix 5 method

RBBRB (1)
RRBBB (2)
BBBRR (3) now bet against (1) occurring
RRRBB win on 2nd bet, now bet against (2)
BBRBR win on 1st bet....... now bet against (3)

can also do matrix 4 which needs less time waiting. don't need to spin another 9 times. just bet against each row 1,2,3...

Interesting take on the heroes. I was thinking that extend the pattern to 12 could be even more successful. Even huge streaks will not bother. Like that:

BBR
RBR
RRR
RBB
-----
?      now play against the 12th Black
