Bet selection vs Bet progression

Aside from self-control and good gambling principles, it seems to me that we have those who focus on determining the best bet selection to beat the game.  We also have those who focus on the best bet progression that gives the best opportunity to be able to walk into a casino and play for an hour or so and walk out a winner.  At least most of the time.


I have been focusing on bet progressions quite a bit lately.


Others focus on bet selection. (Of course they also have to consider bet progression or flat bet.)


What are your thoughts on these 2 aspects of the game?

Speaking mainly about RNG, progression/MM is key to longterm survival, Frippers labby came close, always recovered but at some points the progression got too high for comfort.

Overtime most, if not all, bet selections come close to or within the expected win/loss ratio, how we spend chips over that time is what matters.

Last time we didn't test the original way, but a tweak I and Alex made.


However with the original way I haven't lost yet. With that we did beat all the horror sessions and all my manual made sessions. It would be nice to see how it performs. We are splitting half the figures (total lost units) to another EC. I will send you a PM.
