5 Steps to Success With Dozens

Here's an interesting bet method for anyone who thinks they have a better than average bet selection method for the dozens or columns.


The basic skeleton is:


B=Bet
1.  B    If lose repeat
         If win go to 2


2.  B-1* If lose go to 3
         If win go to 4


3.  B    If lose go to 1
         If win go to 4


4.  B    If lose go to 5
         If win go to 1


5.  Bx2  If lose go to 1
         If win go to 1


*The bet on step 2 changes a little as the 1st bet gets larger.
If bet is 1 thru 5    Bet = B-1
If bet is 6 thru 10   Bet = B-2
If bet is 11 theru 15   Bet = B-4


The progression is:
2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-12-14 (if lose the whole line -92 units)


Here's and example:


1.  2  If Lose  repeat
         If Win +4 go to 2


2.  1  If Lose +3 go to 3
         If Win +6 go to 4


3.  2  If Lose +1 go to 1
         If Win +7 go to 4


4.  2  If Lose +4 go to 5
         If Win +10 go to 1


5.  4  If Lose 0 go to 1
         If Win +12 go to 1


Here's another example:


1.  14  If Lose repeat
           If Win +28 go to 2


2.  10  If Lose +18 go to 3
           If Win +48 go to 4


3.  14  If Lose +4 go to 1
           If Win +46 go to 4


4.  14  If Lose +32 go to 5
           If Win +74 go to 1


5.  28  If Lose +4 go to 1
           If Win +88 go to 1


Anytime we are sent to 1 after a loss, we move to the right 1 step in our progression.


Anytime we are +1 or more over our previous high bank, we reset to the beginning of our progression.


A good way to play this is to shoot for +10 or so units.


Hit n run.  Buy in for 100 units and see what you can do.

B=Bet

Does the repeat count as a goto 1


and we then raise to next level of the progression etc etc

This system is playing for a single dozen or column.  I didn't give a bet selection method.


This topic is for money management only.


I suggest to play it for hit-n-run only.  If you are going to the casino to take a shot at winning a few dollars and you want to risk 100 units, try this system.  With a good run, you can win a lot of chips in a short time.



When I say on 1. to repeat after a loss, I do mean "go to 1".  We only go to 2. if we win on 1.  That means that we are only going to bet beyond 1. with the casino's money.


Each time we lose on 1. we will move to the next level of the progression.


Here is an example starting with B=2 units.


Bet 2 units on a dozen.  Our dozen shows so we win.  We have 4 units of the casino's money. 


Our chart says to go to 2 on a win.  We look at 2 which tells us to bet B-1 or 2-1=1.  So we bet 1 on our next dozen.  It wins and we now have +6 units.  That's 4 units from step 1 and 2 units from step 2.


The chart says if we win step 2 go to step 4. 


Step 4 says to bet B and B=2 in this example.  If we win here on step 4 we will have +10 units and should end this attack.  But, let's say we lost on step 4.  That means we only have 4 units, 6-2=4.  Our chart says if we lose on 4 we go to 5.


Step 5 say to bet B times 2.  In this case B=2 times 2 = 4.  So we bet 4 units on our dozen.  Whether we lose or win, we end this attack.  If we lose we will break even.  That means we will not have lost our original 2 units, so we stay at the same bet level in our progression.  If we win we will win 8 more units so we have 12 units, 4 units from step 4 and 8 units won here on step 5.


Our progression is set up so that if we win on step 4 or 5 we will be at a new high bankroll and can either pocket the profits and go home.  Or start over again at our first 2 unit bet.


You have to study the chart.  If we win on step 1 and lose on step 2 we go to step 3.  If we lose on step 3, we will be at +1, and should end this attack and either quit for the day or replay this level.


If we win on step 3 we will have +7 units.  4 from step 1 minus 1 from step 2 = +3 + 4 from step 3 = +7.  Our chart tells us to go to step 4.


Step 4 tells us to bet B again which is 2 units.  If we win again, we will have +11 units, +7+4=11 and should end the attack.


If we lose on step 4 we will have +5 units, +7-2=+5 and the chart tells us to go to step 5.


Step 5 tells us to bet B times 2 = 4 in this case.  If we lose, we will have +1 and should end the attack.  If we win, we will have +13; +5 from step 4 + 8 from this win = +13.  We also end the attack with +13 units.


Once we win step 1 the worst that can happen is that we will re-play this level of the progression.


Starting at step 1, if we win 3 times in a row, we will have +10 units
Starting at step 1, if we win, lose, win, win we will have +11 units
Starting at step 1, if we win, lose, lose we will have +1 unit
Starting at step 1, if we win, win, lose, lose we will have +1 unit
Starting at step 1, if we win, win, lose, win we will have 0 units
Starting at step 1, if we win, lose, win, win we will have +11 units
Starting at step 1, if we win, lose, win, lose, win we will have +13 units
etc....


I want to correct a mistake I made in the 1st post.  I said that anytime we are sent to the 1st step after a loss we move 1 step to the right in our progression.  That's incorrect.  The only time we move 1 step to the right in our progression is if we lose the bet in step 1.  Once we win in step 1, we only play with the house's money.


We can win odd units as we go along.  You will notice that if we win, lose, lose or win, win, lose, lose, we still win +1 unit.
