Any of the top systems work for Baccarat?

Just curious if anybody on the forum has had success playing any of the roulette systems on baccarat. I'm interested in hearing some experiences.

It should be possible to develope a working Baccarat strategy with the knowledge we have,
because this game is definitely much more simple structured than Roulette ...

Am I wrong here ?  --  I don`t think so ...

Well the answer is both Yes and No. While the options to place your bets are less, it doesn't make the game easier.

Roulette have always been, in my opinion, a game of even chances, just like baccarat. You have losing strikes, winning strikes, trends, z-scores, the probabilities behind and everything... that is all similar.

The difference with roulette comes with the fact you can decide to risk less, to win less, or risk more to win more. For example, the dozens. Someone could decide to play safer and bet two dozens (1 chip each), You then have 2 out of 3 chances of winning 1 unit, that's awesome... but in the counter part, when you lose, you lose 2 units, the same 2 units you won before.

So if you were to have everything "quite" balanced "enough", you'd lose just as much as you win. And that bring us back to even money bets. With even money you, OR win your bet, OR lose your bet, nothing else, nothing more.

Roulette works that way. In the long run, you get nowhere. At all. That's why they added the "0" to turn a neutral expectation game into a negative expectation game.

Roulette = Baccarat in that sense.
In MY opinion, if you want to beat one or the other, you need a serious money management plan.

Simply that.

I agree. If some of the systems work well for roulette they should surely work well for baccarat as well!

A couple of the guys have been playing (I THINK) Pattern Breaker type styles on Baccarat.

My REPLY :

No sweat at all Your FIRST bet is always  higher than  the second bet.
At a  $ 10 table  minimum table  your first bet  would be  $ 20 . If you win  you regress to $ 10.

If a loss occurs then  you would  bet $ 20 again .

If you  are in a winning series  like  2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1 a   choppy  table  cannot hurt you.This  is  just the  basic  idea . A   POSITIVE progression with a regresssion   during a winning series  looks   entirely different.

I tested a system before where "Up & Pull" was mentioned and it had -great- results. I didn't bookmark it because to overall system was losing way too quickly... but by "great" I mean it had good bases.

Nathan, despite the fact all the systems you posted on VLS are flat betting (which I hate), I've learned a lot from your constructive posts on there.

If you were to work on the even chances, I'm pretty sure you'd come up with a killer. You should dedicate it more time, I swear

Anyway, thanks again, now I have a few more thoughts for brainstorming tonight!
