Okay since some of you (myself included) are now playing/testing CODE 4 in a reverse fashion to the original method, Since King Arthur highlighted a promising observation. I.E betting for STEP 1 instead of against it. I have started this thread so that we dont mess up and confuse AMKs original thread. Which for me remains  my most successful method to date. I will soon be posting my first 1000 game sample for REVERSE CODE 4. I am playing this method in longer 20 game sessions 100 games per day.

Well done on this great variation of Code 4!!  ;D

Since the first step is a flat bet and it is not necessary to recoup any loss, it is possible to bet to the table maximum limit for the dozens.

A win (playing for the same dozen to appear) is actually a loss in the original code 4 rules, then when we win the first bet we continue betting with a progression  from step 2 to step 4 to take advantage of code 4 peculiarity   eg.

Step 1: Table max bet used

Step 2 to step 4 progression: Chip size 10 % of maximum bet where I play B&M to stay within table max limit

Step 2:   1/1 (only if first bet wins do we progressive bet here as experience shows a win is almost certain)

Step 3:   3/3

Step 4    9/9

26 unit loss on the progression

Extra tweak:

If one is playing on a single zero table with half the bet returned should the Zero hit, then when betting two dozens next to each other eg. doz 1 and 2 then one could bet on  the 1-18 or 19-36 even chances box and a small chip on the double street remaining and a small chip on the zero.....

I prefer the betting method advocated earlier...ie 1st bet 1 unit FOR.... remaining three bets AGAINST, with the progression 2-2, 6-6, 18-18.
I don't see the reasoning behind you only betting last 3 legs after a win on the first...
If a loss comes on the first bet surely you must try and get that stake back...and a small profit from the rest of the sequence?

Hi RH,

I am not talking about a loss in the original code 4 sense,, ie minus 2 units as we are betting for the dozen to be the same, which is a 2 unit win. This constitutes a "loss" in the old code 4 rules for step 1, so then you bet against the remaining code in steps 2 and 3 and 4...thus picking up an additional win of 1 unit hopefully somewhere in the remaining 3 steps

Hope I am clearing it up...
cheers

okay ..I understand that , but wont your progression only recover your stakes...and not give a 1 unit proffit?
