Testing Question

If you are testing a system on even chances, and you are trying to run a test of 30  100spin sessions.  Would testing 30 individual sessions (3k spin total) be the same as testing each even chance in 10 individual sessions (3k spin total)?

Does it make a difference for testing purposes? Whats your view on this?....

WHY should it be only thirty 100 spins long sessions? You should test at least on 100000 spins to be sure to catch negative hit rate. Depending on what your system bets, it might be even more spins - if you win/recover on rare event, then the more rare the event is, the more spins you should test. It is not impossible for one side of EC to be hitting consistently for about 5000 spins, so you would not find out if it is a loser. Beware of "curve fitting"! At least try on both sides of your bet selection - it should be able to produce what you want on either side, so on no zero roulette it would look like hovering around zero. If you found such a bet selection, please tell me, I am looking for it ;)

Thanks for your reply. I didnt say that it should only be 30  100spin sessions. But out of these 30 sessions across different tables you can get a fairly decent idea of how your bet selection is performing, or am I wrong about that?

Its hard to run tests on that many spins when you are not able to code your bet selection to be tested. Everything I test is by hand/rx but I do not know how to write programs, I just  use it to keep accurate track of my bankroll and to be able to look at the graphs.

So far the tests that I have been doing by hand have been promising. 15 sessions, all winners, all hit the profit target of +15units, and its been done mostly by the 60th spin. Although I would prefer a flat bet method, this uses a slight progression....

Then why don't you describe your system there? If it is interesting enough, it might be tested. You should definitely describet reasons why you think that your bet selection works.
