i was thinking if roulette is so unpredictable then why are we doing it why not put all of our energy into something that will work for us?

which is football (soccer hate that word) trading you dont need knowledge of the sport although it would be a good help all it is down to is good research with a good stratergy and money management, i mean if u put 100 down on black and it comes zero uve lost all of it no going back u cant sell your bet so u end up losing £20 instead of 100 but you can when you trade!

what if u backed the score to be 1-1 soon as that goal goes in you can sell your bet for a profit what happens if theres no goals and the odds drift way out so u cant sell your bet? theres stratagies and exit plans something you cant do with roulette!

what i was thinking if anyone is interested id like to set up a team of researchers to find that 1 or 2 games where we have got a good chance of profit! trends happen all the time in football and they go on for years!!!!

anyways let me know what you think and we will get started

thanks

the one i love is the last few mins before the final whistle buying a bet that says there will be a goal the odds are crazy!

i once missed out on making 50k with a £10 bet last few seconds of the game the least fav team scored! i was gutted stupid computer froze! how my life could be now :(

Hey Stacks

I've been fiddling @ Betfair for a while now, must admit not at football though, why do you feel football is the way to go?

Probably best not to discuss it on a roulette forum, we may get bounced LOL there's been a lot of bouncing here lately, PM?

hi stackbundles i think you  should be looking at arbing it encases all sports if the team your betting on wins or loses you will still be in profit...this is what my son in law does for a living....plus side is if you have a lot of money to do it you make a percent on it....downside is being stuck in looking at a computer moniter....this is his site  link:://:.couponarbitrage.com/  google arbing and learn a lot before you do anything.hope this helps

People talk about other stuff in ere all the time I'm sure my lil post won't bother anyone or will it? maybe who knows we will see

i don't suggest football is the best but i have the most knowledge on it so its best for me plus i live football so theres another reason

also it helps to watch the game while you trade skys not the best for it because of the lil delay but it helps

i mean theres so many things that change the game by maybe 1 man missing from the team can cause problems and give us a good chance to net a big profit

if your up for starting a team we will research all the games for the weekend
work out our strategy and exit point and see how we do

england vs sweden is tonight without research i would back 1.5 goals
I can see england scoring there 2000th goal and with only winning 2 of the last 17 games against sweeden i see goals!

but I've done next to nothing research so don't take my word but it looks a good bet

StackBundles

thanks 6th i will look into it

Football or soccer as I call it. and rugby are my games. I would never of backed England to beat Spain. Although Spain had many chances to win the game just wasn't spains day in the scoring department.

StackBundles

nope i wudnt back england to of beaten spain although they did good last time 2-1 to spain. what i did do is lay 1.5 goals i didnt trade tho i took a risk i thought england were defending good and looked organized so i left it and made a nice profit

StackBundles

sorry i meant back under 1.5 propa tired aint been bed yet and i gotta go hospital stupid!

I had a go at betting on the gee gees a few years ago. My horses usually crossed the line first, problem was it was usually in the following race.  ;D   Too many variables for my liking, but football might be a better prospect, except the game bores me rigid.

Trading on Betfair is the way to go I think, rather than straight betting. Often certain teams have artificially low odds because of expectation and hype, so laying the favourite can be a good strategy.

i used to do trading watching the horses but its all to fast id rather chill out and study something and get a feel how the game is going

Quoteso laying the favourite can be a good strategy

Tried that for a while, only problem I found was the back to back wins happen a lot with horses, so I did the same with the doggies, less fav wins but again they win too often for flat betting to work long term, currently I am looking for the worst doggie in the bunch, not an easy task but it has been working for the last week. The guy who picks the dogs for the race in my mind he knows which one has the best chance of winning, if you study the muts history there are a few things to work with, to find the worst dog that is.

This was yesterdays results for me, £2 bets, flat betting

WWWWWWWWWW5/1WWW8/1WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW4/1WWWWWWWWWWWW7/2WW6/1WWWWWWW
53 WINS = 100.70
5 LOSSES = 53.00
PROFIT 47.70

It is time consuming BUT you get a bet every 10 minutes on average and if I can carry on with the above ratio I can't see a problem with trying a bit of recovery after a loss, football would bore me.
