This is a classic scene from "Deliverance", made in 1972 and featuring a young Burt Reynolds. Great movie, but not exactly a "feel good" movie - not for the faint hearted. Anyway, here's the clip - enjoy.

Great music . . . this was best scene in the movie.

Reminds me a little of roulette . . . the guitarist is one of the mathboyz and the banjo player is like the rest of us, don't know math but surely enjoy playing.

Don't give up . . . . .Don't ever give up.

In the movie the old guy was filling up the vehicle for Burt Reynolds and he then tells him the price $4.99. That was 1972 - 40 years ago. At a rough guess petrol has increased 20 times since then.
Also I use to get into trouble at the servo if I went to fill up my car myself. How times have changed.

I bring this up as a reminder when reading about systems etc. from past decades. Winning $100 in the 60's is probably similar to winning $2,000 today.
