The new Revel casino in Atlantic City is expected to revive a struggling gaming industry, and the elaborate plans for the grand opening on Memorial Day weekend now include Beyonce performing the first-ever concert at the facility.

Atlantic City needs   all the publicity  it can get. The latest on the  scene there  is the REVEL casino which shall debut  April 2, 2012.

This casino will have no  bus crowds, no mass feeding at Buffets, and  according to an article  in USA TODAY   not much is being said   about comps. This will be such an upscale resort that revenues are being produced by  luxury restaurants , the  ultimate Spa offering,  stage shows etc.The  entire casino/hotel  is scheduled to be entirely non smoking..

Some patrons  from the  Borgata and Harrahs  group will get a rude awakening by not getting the same  comp benefits they have been used to
