Test the accuracy of your method to predict the winning number. If it works, then your system works. But tests over a few hundred spins tell you nothing.

At my local casino the more tier points I have the more bonus points I get for free foods and other small benefits. For each $2 bet on the video roulette I get 1 tier point. I already tried the following to see if I can accumulate tier points using the following betting method; $17 red, $17 black, $1-0, $1-00. It costs me $2 for 18 tier points. The above example is just too easy and obvious so I would like to play a variation using a similar strategy that is not so obvious. Preferably one that involves larger bets that can have a short term positive variance that will let me get out with a good number of tier points and even a profit. Losses should be small and the gains large so when a momentary variance is in my favor I can quit with a small loss, break even or a profit.

I found the following on another forum and would like to understand it better and maybe improve it. Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Here it is:

Each play is about $40

$5 each on black and red.
$3 0, 00
$3 0, 1
$3 00, 3
$3 0, 00, 2
$3 split on 4#s(5 sets)

I don't remember exactly. But its something like that. I know he was doing double of that at some point. Racked up that 130K points playing 2hrs here, 2hrs there. I know its not much but the black and red was just to accumulate more points per play. On roulette you have to watch out to at least have something on the zeros to at least even out the loss on the red/black so you don't lose that when you hit zeros.

Of course theres bad streaks too where you don't hit the numbers you're not on and he would be down 2/3 of that bet. But he seemed to get on decent streaks where it was hitting most of the numbers and coming out $3-4 out 6-7 in a row. Plus hitting the zeros along with the 1, 2, 3 was giving out $45-90 each time.
