Hi,

When you see a sequence of 5 results matching any of these:

BBBBB
BBBBR

RRRRR
RRRRB

OOOOO
OOOOE

EEEEE
EEEEO

HHHHH
HHHHL

LLLLL
LLLLH

Bet AGAINST the last result for a max of THREE times only.
Progression 1-2-2.
Stop at a win.

If lose all three bets on an EC - wait for ONE more result to occur then resume play. Bet AGAINST the last result for a max of THREE times only.
Progression 1-2-2.
Stop at a win.

Possible results for each attempt will be:
+1
+1
-1
or
-5

Target goal = +4u.

Play with a single EC or use all 3 for more, faster bets.

:)

Example
=====
R
B
R
R
B
B
B
B
R - trigger
R - L1
B - W2                 +1

You could use a stop/loss of say -15u...?

This is not bad, relying as it does on probability, but after some thought I feel it really needs a revision to improve performance; for instance I'm keeping the same triggers and found that as a result of a simple tweak and a different progression it wins consistently better overall for me personally.
Today I made +28u. over 4 sessions.

Good Luck,

A.

Atlantis,  Are you saying that if you get RRRRR you bet for B three times using 1-2-2 progression.  Or, if you get RRRRB you bet for R three times using same progression?

GLC
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Tamino

The lon g  term odds  for a  Red after RRRRR  are 63-1 . I would chance to  bet a 1: 1 Black against  that streak of R.

However  I  am puzzled by  RRRRRB trigger .

Hi George, tamino
@GLC: In my first post the 1-2-2 bet combo (stop at a win) was to play always on O.L.D.
@tamino: Yes - one bet only - that is the key! :)

Tamino

Hi Tamino,
Thanks for your seal of approval about this method. For sure, I have not originated this and to be honest I cannot remember exactly how it first came to my attention either but since you have been aware of it and used it for so long then it must have been around quite some years... I also think it simple but strong and effective tool as well and it's certainly encouraging to hear you speak highly of it. Possibly there are variations on how to play using the trigger patterns. For instance, just now I play ONCE only looking for triggers on all EC's across multiple tables in online live casino. There are wins and losses but not long runs of L's on each EC. For progression I use the "best of 5" but there is also gr8players progression for EC's - I'm thinking even have separate progression for each EC...?
In UK I look for trigger signals from the online casino roulette portal/lobby which as you know are constantly updating the history marquees, so it is easy to select the required live table from the several available and quickly go and place a bet.
This way there are plenty of bets - or you can stick to "Speed roulette" if playing just one table with live croupier.

Thanks,
Atlantis.

Atlantis,

The 1-2-2 system is around for a while. I found  in John Patock`s book So You Wanna  Be a Gambler, Advanced roulette 1987 ( 426 pages).

However he does not go beyond 3 bet selections. In those days it was strictly B & M casinos. For us here  in the USA it still is. Playing this system  you cannot  sit down at a table  since we  don`t play every spin.

I have been having good results playing the following way.

Track all the even chance bets (R/B, E/O, H/L).  The betting trigger is 3 in a row of the same result.  So RRR or EEE or BBB.  Then we bet 1 time for the streak to end.
(As side note.  Three in a row is an arbitrary number in a row.  You can use 2, 4, 5 or even more in a row as the trigger if you want.  In my honest opinion, it doesn't matter.  The longer the streak the fewer betting opportunities.  The shorter the streak, the more betting opportunities.  If you delete all your tracking spins and collapse your betting opportunities into a continuous string, the strings will all probably look identical whether you use 2, 3, 4, ect... length streaks.  So don't spend too much time trying to decide which steak length is best for a trigger.)

One bet per trigger.  I use a streak of 3 for a trigger because it gives me a good opportunity to be betting most of the time because I'm tracking all three e.c's.  A trigger of 4 isn't bad either.  Atlantis' trigger of 5 is great if you have multiple tables to watch so you can "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee."

I just can't seem to be able to play a strict flat-bet so I use a bread winner progression.  Each attack is made up of three bets, 1-1-1.  Just so you don't have to work it out, a win on the 1st bet nets you +1.  If you lose the 1st bet and win the 2nd bet, you break even.  If you lose 1 and 2 and win on 3 you're -1.  And if you lose all 3, you are -3.

If you remember the bread winner progression, when you get behind by 5 units, you increase your bet to 2 units to recover the 5 lost units from the 1 unit bet level.  If you get behind by 15 units, you increase your bet size to 3 units.  These 3 unit bets are used to recover the 2 unit losses and if you do and you still have 1 unit losses to recover, you drop back down to 2 unit bets to recover these.

Here's the tricky part.  (Only mildly tricky)  At the end of each attack we adjust our Bread Winner line.  So an attack can be 1, 2 or 3 bets in length.  Every time you win on the 1st bet, cross off a unit in our line.  If you Lose then Win, you break even so no action required.  If you Lose, Lose then Win, you add the lost unit to our recovery line.  If you lose all three bets, you write down three 1's in our recovery line.

When we get five 1's not crossed off in our recovery line, we go to the 2 unit attack level.  That means we will be betting 2 units for the three bets instead of 1 unit.  So a win on the 1st bet nets us +2.  A Loss then Win breaks us even.  A Lose, Lose, Win costs us 2 units and a Lose, Lose, Lose costs us 6 units.  These 2's are written down to the right of our 1's in our recovery line.  We continue to bet 2 units until we either recover all the 1 unit losses or we have five 2 unit losses uncrossed off.  At that time we move to the 3 unit bet level.

Continue in this way until you reach your stop loss or win target.

Our progression line is 1-2-3-5-7-9-11-13-15-18-21-24-28-32-36-41-46-51 etc...

I can't tell you what to make your stop loss be.  You decide that based on your bankroll and risk tolerance.

So far this is playing pretty stable for me but test it for yourself before you risk money on it.

And no matter what anybody tells you, roulette is gambling.  Play at your own risk.

Thanks GLC for your take on the MM and selection patterns.
If playing after a series of 3, I would do same as you and play for the opposite for one bet only.

Update:
Just lately I play this watching for the 5 consecutive repeats of an EC then bet ONCE only for the opposite to occur...

I play on all 3 EC's: R/B, O/E and H/L with a SEPARATE bank for each.

I've been using a bank for 26u for each EC type.

I use the 26 unit parlay series idea: 1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-6-7 (= 26u)

Parlay each time after a win on the next valid trigger for that particular winning EC, and if the parlay wins then restart the parlay series from the start - else - move up to next step in the progression line for that EC.

My target = 10 units for each EC- then stop betting that EC
I stop betting an EC whenever I lose the betting series (26u) or hit a target profit for that EC. (10u)

My session target is usually +15 to 20 units profit then I start thinking of quitting for the day!

This should work better (but take longer), I think in a MATRIX VERTICAL 7:

Advise use fastspin feature of trusted r.n.g. for faster recording and play. Single 0 or nozero roulette.

Hi Atlantis, Tamino, GLC

I am not an EC fan , but... if the odds are like that, why not bet that progression 1-2-2  after 6 different streets( just like 6 reds in row and bet against) ,
or after 9 different splits(just like 9 reds in row/ maybe here bet for repeat ? or against ? ) ,
jump from one bet selection to other (  and no need to wait , because we always have 6 streets in x spins  or 9 splits in x spins) .

cheers

Tamino

Kattila,

Speaking for  myself there are occasions that warrant to  play the 1-2 -2 method.
