Okkkk

Just had a 30 Spin Real Money Test and ended up +16pts

At one point did have 6 W's in a row !

Maybe we cud change our MM ?

But the flipside, obviously, is what if they had been 6 L's ?

Anyway, at this point in time with 3 DS's its working nicely. Yes I agree small samples, but they are my Real Life Samples Im playin each day !

Will Update when next Session is played
Its Set In Stone =)

Twisteruk

And another Real Money Test !

37 Spins and +24pts Profit

Best, 9w's in a row

Worst, 7L's in a row

Cheers

@twister: Congrats on your 40 points win today! Notice at around Spin 30 the bank is level. Sometimes it takes more spins to pull through and deliver. I am not advocating you need to play more than 30 spins at all. It is just it can be slow and time consuming to play longer sessions. If playing shorter sessions then obviously the profit may not always be on the high side.... Still we can be happy with small gains or even level sessions. Even so, these 100 spin examples may be useful.

Cheers,
A.

Sorry to hear that twister.

I had an enquiry about a stop-loss. I would always urge to stop in profit - but the problem is how much??

Losses and "hell" sessions - it might, could and probably will happen I'm afraid.

Like Kattila's version I would strongly suggest STOPPING if losses start piling up.

My idea is  if you LOSE the 3rd bet at 3 in the 11,22,33... progression then STOP whether in profit or not. That would be a full loss of 36 points if the losses happened consecutively... (if playing the 3 line method)

I would advise then to WAIT UNTIL A VIRTUAL WINNER occurs then restart @ 1u again.
Or even end the session if a few units ahead OR mark that as a losing session (may not be the full 36pts if there were previous winnings) and play another session later...

As for a stop-win figure, I think we should be satisfied with gaining a few pts each time say, maybe  +8  or +10

What do others think?

Hi guys,

Thanks for your reply Atlantis.

The stop loss question is important for me (for us) :)
cause, of course, we don't want to lose all the units that we hardly won...

It would be great that all the guys involved give their mind about stop loss
and also stop win figure, yes.

For stop win figure, i  agree with you for a 8-10 units for each session. (some mates
probably want to play more spins so maybe they'll be more greedy :P ...)

Stop loss : i'm almost sure that each one has his own idea but to my mind,
i believe it would be great to share different points of view.

Thanks !
Cheers.

Stop loss thoughts:

I was going to write a long, drawnout lecture on how we need stop losses, but we have to realize that we will always reach a stop loss and when we do, we give back a really big chunk of what we won.

Unless we make the stop loss so small that we reach it regularly.  At least this way, we will have a fair idea as to how our bet selection is really working.  A stop loss of 1 is the purest form of stop loss.  Everytime we lose 1 unit, we reset and start over.  This is more commonly known as a flat bet.  But it can also be thought of as a win target of 1 and a stop loss of 1.

Okay, now that everyone's eyes have glassed over with boredom, here's my idea for a bet.

Background:  If we bet 1 unit and lose and then bet 2 units and win, we have recovered our loss plus double.  If we lose 1 and 2 and then bet 3 we have recovered exactly what we lost.  If we lose 1,2 and 3 and then win on 4, we have not recovered our whole loss and the larger the number of units we bet, the less of what we have lost is recovered.

That's why when we are very deep in the hole, it takes forever to recover if at all.

I think that we can harness the power of 1,2,3 by betting on a sliding scale.

If we lose 1,2 & 3 we don't go to 4, we go up 1 step to 2,4& 6.

We stay at 2,4,6 until we win back the 6 units we lost on the level below and then we drop down 1 level.

If we lose at 2,4,6 we go to 3,6,9 .

We will be down as much as 18 units, but at 3,6,9 we only have to win back the units lost on the last level which is 12 units.  If we win 12 units before losing 3 times in a row, we will drop back to 2,4,6 until we win the 6 units from the 1 level at which time we will drop back to 1,2,3.

This will work better with 1,2,4; 2,4,8; 3,6,12; 4,8,16; 5,10,20; etc... but of course more risk.

The purest form, I think, is 1,2; 2,4; 3,6; 4,8; 5,10 etc... I have tested it this way with excellent results.

I am neither a mathematician nor a logician, so there may be something I'm overlooking that will make this less effective than I think, so if any of you math guys can shed light on this to save us a lot of time, please do.

Just constructive criticism please.

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Side B

Lots of good points made above. I've been testing 3 lines as per Atlantis' 3 Line rules and this is my profit so far:

Session 1: 28 spins, + 10 units
Session 2: 118 spins, +30 units
Session 3: 218 spins, -186 units (crazy-long session, should have stopped way before)
Session 4: 29 spins, +192 units
Session 5: 42 spins, + 21 units
Session 6: 30 spins, + 18 units
Session 7: 23 spins, + 15 units

Total profit: 100 units

Session 3 started early evening to finish late at night, I kept pulling back from the brink and back into profit and then would hit series of losses again. I was playing 10 units per DS (=30 units a spin) by the end of my session, I probably would have carried on but I had to go to bed!
Then in the morning I thought, since we're only tracking the last number, I could just pick up where I left off, so I started betting with 8 units a DS (= 24 units a spin) and was lucky to get back into profit quickly.

On sessions 6 and 7, I started using this progression: 2,2,3,3,4,4 etc in order to get bigger wins quicker whilst already in profit, without dramatically increasing the risk. ie if I'm level or in profit, I get 6 units per win as opposed to 3.

My thoughts on stop-loss: we will hit the stop-loss probably too often. I've been down between 100 and 200 units on a few occasions but every time I managed to pull back. I would be several 100s down now if I'd used a stop-loss, whereas I'm up 100 units now. However GLC's suggestion looks interesting, what do you guys think?

For stop-wins, I think 12-15 units max per session. You need to win a decent amount of units because each win is small if you play at Ã,£1 per unit. I don't think it's the kind of system where you can bet Ã,£10, Ã,£50 or Ã,£100 a units due to the progression.
