Might as well salvage something from this thread, so what is your favourite Jim Carrey movie, RG, anyone?

I like them all, but if I was pressed to choose a favourite it would be, Man On The Moon.

Negative this...negative that....

Did everyone forgot how TG showed how the HE was gone ? 37 people walk into a casino. Each have their own number.

Method 1: they all start betting from spin 1 non stop. The outcome : they lost as a group exactly at the HE

Method 2 : they only start to bet once their number showed. The outcome : The HE was gone. They break even as a group.

Think about that !!!!

There's only a very, very tiny exception to this universal truth.

If the probability of something happening in the future is high enough that can overcome the unfavourable odds.

That's like searching a needle in the haystack for some probability which is proven by extensive simulation that it does overcome the odds. This condition must be universal, meaning it works the same at all wheels.

Now tell me what it takes to achieve such a finding ?

This will need someone who is competent in math/stats to properly validate the model, a quant interested to crack this roulette negative expectation game who is willing to spend effort and time to devise new frontier math model whose purpose is for intellectual conquest more than mere monetary gains - not the normal me and you.

Its actually not that complicated and many people have done it. i even explained the algorithm to find any pattern.

That's encouraging to know.

I'm close to do it.  :thumbsup:

Roulette is chaotic game, so beat it with the Chaos theory

chaos needs an attractor. The question is what is it?

luck

LOL.

How about pseudo-random?

EX:

07=7
19=1+9=10=1+0=1
23=2+3=5
and so on

Now last few outcomes:

17, 28, 05, 11, 34, 36, 28, 29, 26 equal
08, 01, 05, 02, 07, 09, 01, 02, 08 now start counting i.e. "tracking" 8+1=9, 9+5=14=5, 5+2=7 and so on gives
08, 09, 05, 07, 05, 05, 06, 08, 07 equals pseudo-random tracking.

Still doesn´t beat HE, but everyone´s free to try it.

Good luck.

Steve, the attractor is the pattern..
If you plot the system's behavior in a graph over an extending period you might see the patterns that are not obvious in the short term.

 as far as playing roulette goes pseudo random is just random with a silly word in front of it.

Wrongggg!

Chaotic processes "spins" are not random, they follow rules, but even simple rules can produce extreme complexity, this blend of simplicity and unpredicabilty also occurs in roulette

Harsh. Are you the General?

It´s still based on past spins, so it´s useless. I´ll give you that.

Wrong when you start you now know the starting 37#'s are DUE, you have to learn how they come.

I have an idea ...

let's say we can afford a 10 progressions on 18 numbers ...

Great, why don't we search for a combination of x events which have a very low probability to occur, say a sequence of x events, example :  REd-black-black-red-black-red-black-black

We take this sequence and bet the opposite of it, we only lose if it repeats.

Black red is stupid example but can be extended to any other event

One can slice the wheel in x parts and then search for a sequence which least showing up ...
