I didn't watch it, the show was in the middle of the night for Europeans, but from the local news I heard it was quite boring, and sometimes awkward.

Looks like the rumor is true that they make a statue for everyone.

I dont mind the time of year for movies, but no way I will watch the show.

My wife and I attend lots of movies, maybe 50 or more per year.  We also rent many more, so we're pretty much up on the nominees.  We greatly enjoyed the show.  Ellen did not go political and that's good.  She was actually entertaining.  Could not believe those people ate pizza!!

Hey, where was Tom Hanks??  I thought he was up for best actor.  We are both truly puzzled as he gave an Oscar-winning performance in that movie.  All should see it.
