Had to laugh, water companies are losing 3,183 million litres of water, a day.
In 1989 they were privatised.
Best excuse for water prices to be increased has to be, through lack of previous governments’ investment to the infrastructure; we have to increase the price for households.
So the companies were called before a commission today to answer, where has all the water gone as reservoirs have dried up in the north, just see on local news a leak on the road, flooded 3 houses and was running for 17 hrs, how much water lost there?
I bet you that the golf courses that the fat cat bosses play on are as green as can be.
So after all these years of increases to pay for improvements to the infrastructure; how are they losing so much, so I reckon you could relay the entire system over; again and again, nah its Britain, we’ll just keep paying, instead of protesting like the French, we’ll keep paying so the shareholders keep getting there dividend’s.

Strange country we live in though Notto. 3 weeks of sun and there's a water shortage, 3 weeks of rain and we have floods everywhere.
Unreal.
On another note, the Hammers - nearly 90m spent?! looks like an interesting season ahead.

And if you get a rain tank and catch your own water, they will tax you on it or pass laws prohibiting you from catching rain water.

We all complain about the governments. So exactly why arent we doing something about it?

Ive been asking this for ages. As i see it now, we don't stand because if we did, we'd have no chance. 1 vote, 1 person makes a difference? Bullshit.

I would love to take my government to court, as they break their own rules. By logic, i would win. In reality, I'd lose.

I would love to just not pay tax because the government has too much corruption, among other reasons. But if i don't pay unfair tax, ill surely get screwed. Many people may know about corruption like the federal reserve, but not enough to make change, yet. But the elite have plans to deal with dissent when it eventually occurs. They expect it.

So let's hear everyones solutions? Most of us feel the same way.

I think safest is maybe a list of voters who will vote for whatever political party that creates or abolishes requested laws. But that may not work. The elected party doesn't have all the power. Ive tried to do this on my site :.yourway.org.au but don't get enough numbers.

Thoughts anyone?

I also created :.landsharing.org which did well for some time but read dedtroyed by hackers. So i had to start from scratch. Haven't had time to promote yet. The problem with such a project is still government regulation.

Actually, I have for you a very simple solution... immigrate to a country that doesn’t tax your income.. hmmm... go to Dubai !

There you don’t pay tax on your income ..

Thats a patch, not a solution. I mean a solution for everyone who wants to just live free of the bullshit.

"Late last night in a shock address to the nation, President Ramaphosa officially confirmed that the ANC-led government will change the Constitution to allow for expropriation of land without compensation.

This means that your private property â€" your home, business or land â€" could be taken away from you without payment."

Looks like South Africa is set to become a communist country.

Yes I like what they're doing, but like my efforts, there just isnt enough support for it. We all share much the same gripes, but fall short on action.

Well...Henry VIII did exactly the same thing 400 years ago to pay for wars. He wasnt elected though.
Thats the difference between communism and party policy. The peoples vote

Steve

In desperate times like war, if there is a perceived threat to a nation, who are the people to argue? What would it take to fake a threat, just to get people to agree?

As for anyone who ever said there was a shortage of land, or overpopulation... they need to do some driving across somewhere like Australia. There's so much fertile land as far as you can see. And all for one stupid cow chowing on grass.

There is no shortage of anything. There is just manufactured scarcity.

Apply the same and wonder why most people cant afford land. You are forced to buy strictly zoned and controlled land, which is why it is in short supply. But stealing it from people is not the answer. Sure if they stole it in the first place, take it back. But these SA laws are probably going to be abused.

Brexit you mean
Brexit was exactly how things should be done
A party brings out a manifesto with a promise of a referendum on europe....amongst many other policies...before a general election.

People vote for that party....and technically vote for a referendum

Well....not quite because that referendum policy was hidden deep in a big list of other far more important policies....so its difficult to determin if anyone voted Tory because of that promise.

On the other hand....UKIP had that as a main slogan and their top, top policy and they were crushed at the polling stations.

On that mandate, its mind lowing we voted out.
I voted stay simply because I wasnt getting  involved in a dirty trix lying Farage-fest

How on earth can I vote out when me and all the politicians didnt know what it meant, and millions of £'s later and 2 years down the line, still dont.

Notto...I made up my mind on the day when a scrotey family with 6 kids to 6 different dads (stinking of cannabis)were letting the kids put the cross on the ballet paper. Never seen a polling station in their life and the bloke said "lets get all these fkin muslems out the country"....in front of the kids
Thick stupid morons.

Thats your Brexit voter
