Sector AP in a covert fashion

When using visual ballistics or another tracking method, I have found that watching the wheel and placing neighbours bets late can attract the attention of the pit boss or dealer when a few wins hit.

This results in the dealer speeding up the wheel either on own volition or instruction. Or they will call no more bets early or change the dealer or ball. This ruins favourable conditions.

I have thus developed a betting strategy which appears much more random and mimicks more closely the behaviour of random players or random system players.

Say for example my prediction is 10, I bet 10,11,13,14 corner and 33/36 split. This nicely straddles the prediction area in just two chips. Obviously there is not time to place many chips. I don't have to shout out for a neighbours bet.

I only watch and predict black numbers since I find it much easier to have a wheel of just black numbers in my head and know immediately all the relative positions.

For every black number I have some corners, splits, and streets learned for immediate recall which reflect the sector that number is placed in.

They are not immediately next to the prediction but within 8 or 9 pockets or less, which I reckon is OK because at the best of times I can only make a stab at the half of the wheel where the ball is likely to rest.

Does anyone else use this sector betting idea, and how do you think it would compare to making neighbours bets? How aware do you think casino personal are of people making sector bets like this?

I took the liberty of adding your profile title. Feel free to change it.

Why dont you consider team play? Its much easier to avoid detection. There are many options to avoid detection.

Thanks for that. I don't think I'm that hot :D 5% at best with the right conditions.

The problem with team play is one has to share the profits, which are meagre at best. Also I don't play certain wheel speeds or certain dealers or certain wheels, so they would get bored waiting around not placing bets, trying to get the right conditions!

5% is painfully low. Still better than -2.7%. Usually I don't bother unless it's 20%+ but I use computers.

I agree 5% is low, but it's only a recreation for me at the moment. It's like playing a double zero wheel but in reverse. A blackjack AP would give his right arm for 5%. But, those guys bet £100's when the count is high for an edge of 1% whereas I only bet £1 to £3 a spin mainly to keep under the radar. I'm not denting table margins.

I have my own full size casino quality wheel at home which I bought many years back and practice more for fun and study than for making huge amounts.
