There are Many on this forum more experienced than I,
any critique is welcome; the good, bad, or ugly.

Introduction

Some may not agree with my view on the pure randomness of roulette...

There are dozens of "memory systems" that hinge on the outcome of a
roulette spin having something to do with previous spins yet roulette is
a random game. Two spins (or more) are events that are statistically
independent. The occurrence of one has no statistical effect upon the
occurrence of the other, hence random.

The best proof I have for the "random" argument is the fact that since the
invention of the game it's still here, very popular, and making casino owners
VERY rich. If the wheel had a memory and we could predict outcomes the
game would have vanished long ago.

Having said all that, what's a guy to do? After all, you have to rely on some
type of "method" or "system", along with some type of progression. My Systems
bets are statistically independent. They take advantage of repeats, then adapt
to follow a trend change.

Before I explain how I play I want to stress that incorrect money management
will destroy you. Whatever system you play, test it on a live dealer wheel in free
mode. Determine what Unit value and what progression you will use, then determine
an appropriate amount for a bankroll. Remember, gambling is like the weather, some
days it's cloudy and some days it's sunny. Some days you will win, some days you will
lose. I always stop at about +60% of BR or -80% of BR. Meaning if I have a BR of $100
I stop at about $160 or -$20. If my BR goes down to $50 and I recover to $110 I stop.

I run two Systems at he same time, each with different progressions and BR's.

My Even Chance/Dozens Combo System

Even Chance

For my EC Method I use Red/Black and I use the Wrangler Strategy or “Wrangler
March”. It slightly resembles the Avant-Dernier, the bet on the next to last spin.
However the Wrangler March is much more effective because it incorporates a
method to handle the deadly “series of 2″ which kills the Avant-Dernier.

How to bet

Using the Wrangler March you bet on the last outcome, red or black, and
you continue to bet on the same one until you get two consecutive losses.

Once this has happened you then switch to betting on the opposite color.

There is only one exception to this, if you encounter the deadly “series of 2"
(red/red, black/black) you continue to bet on the same chance for up to three
consecutive losses rather than two.

Look at the example below:

As you can see, the first outcome is red, so we begin to bet red. We lose
the first bet but continue to bet red as we don’t change until we get two
consecutive losses.

We win some bets and then we get two consecutive losses, we now switch
to betting on black.

We get two consecutive losses on black BUT WE DO NOT SWITCH TO BET RED
because it is part of the “series of 2″, as you can see it has gone black/black,
red/red â€" the highlighted results show this.

We continue to bet black, if it lost again, example; three consecutive losses
we would then switch to red.

The EC Bet Progression

I use the Guetting, which is a positive progression system, in that the bets
increase during a winning streak. There are various steps and fall back levels
wired into the system in an attempt to lock in any profits if your luck does turn
the other way.

The system has 4 different levels, or "gears" as follows:

Levels      Units
Level 1  =   1
Level 2  =   1.5 / 2 / 3
Level 3  =   4 / 6 / 8
Level 4  =   10 / 15 / 20

When I'm gambling I have a word doc open with the following progression string:

1,1,1.5,1.5,2,2,3,3,4,4,6,6,8,8,10,10,15,15,20,20

Study the above progression string and you will see 1,1 is Level 1.
1.5,1.5,2,2,3,3 is Level 2. 4,4,6,6,8,8 is Level 3 and the rest, Level 4.

This progression uses the levels for wins and loses.

On wins you simply increase to the next progression, starting with 1 unit
and ending with 20. I record my bets under the string on my word doc to
keep track of the bets. (when to raise and lower)

When you lose, rather than coming back down the sequence in a linear
fashion, you play quantum mechanics and fall back down levels (to lock
in profits).

After the loss of a bet, the Guetting Progression steps down to the first
unit size in the next lower level, therefore down to 4, 1.5 or 1, depending,
in which level the bet was lost. This is how the progression tries to lock
in profits. If you lose, you fall off levels and your bets diminish in size.

This can take a while to get your head around, so I'll illustrate this with a few examples.

Bet 1 Win
Bet 1 Win
Bet 1.5 Win (We went up a level)
Bet 1.5 Lose (We nudge down to Level 1)
Bet 1 Lose (We are at the first number of Level 1)
Bet 1

Another example..

Bet 1 Win
Bet 1 Win
Bet 1.5 Win
Bet 1.5 Win
Bet 2 Lose
Bet 1.5 Lose
Bet 1

Positive progression system such as this (where your bets increase after wins)
rather than negative progression systems (where your bets increase after losses)
works well because of the simple fact that if you are increasing your bets after
a win, you should have more buffer to soak up a loss. You are not chasing losses.
You will love this progression when your color shows 10+ times in a row.

The other thing I like about The Guetting Progression is that it tries to lock
in profits with a separate profile for winning streaks and losing streaks, both
of which you will experience.

Here's some cool graphs and more explanation on The Guetting;

You can also search the web for more info on this positive progression to get
a better understanding but be aware that some have changed it a bit making
it a little more risky.

My Dozens Method

This System takes advantage of repeating dozens. It's a lot of fun and makes
good money when dozens repeat, which happens more often than not. When
they are not repeating I just play the EC Method.

I'm looking to quit with +60% of Bankroll low or -20% of BR total.

I wait till a dozen hits twice in a row then bet one unit on that dozen.

Example: Spin is 4 then 9, I bet on the first dozen.

If this dozen repeats I increase the bet using a progression:
1, 1, 1.5, 1.5, 2 - then start over.

If the first bet is a loss, say 12 drops, then I place 1 unit bet
on the first and second dozen.

There's three possible outcomes on the third spin (two losses after a "first bet")
and I respond to each with a different reaction:

1) Dozen 1 drops, since the last drop was dozen 2 and there is no repeat,
I continue betting Dozen 1 and 2 using the positive progression.
(They can alternate all night if they want)

2) Dozen 2 drops. Here our last dozen repeated. I remove the bet on the 1st
dozen and start the progression on the repeater.

3) Dozen 3 drops. This kills the play. I wait for a dozen to drop two
times in a row and start over.

So you see, I am either betting on a 1 dozen repeater, two dozen non-repeaters,
or waiting for a dozen to drop twice in a row.

Note: On a loss, always revert back to a 1 unit bet. Negative progression,
or increasing your bet to chase a loss is eventual BR suicide. For example,
say 3rd doz repeats and you bet 1 unit, it wins and you bet 1.5, you win
again and bet 2, then 1st doz drops. I suggest placing 1 unit on 1st and 3rd.
This way, if the 2nd drops your ahead.

Note: Always cover the 0 to cover your bet. If the 0 drops I always wait
for a dozen to repeat twice before I get back in.

That's it.

Good luck!

Thank you.

If you've read my posts you know I'm a "follow the trend"
guy and I play outside. The reason I always cover the zero
is not that I get any kind of advantage over the house, it's
that it pays 35 to 1. If you have the right BR and you don't
bore easily there is one method to play you will never lose...

Pick a number and bet straight up. Pick a progression, say it's
18. After 18 losses add 1 unit. Eventually your number will hit
and you will profit. You know it pays 35 to 1 so whenever you
decide to progress you know the profit.

Reference my EC/DC System...sometimes dozens do not repeat
and if the color isn't repeating kiss your bankroll goodbye.

I started playing a 3rd system, with my other two, and
it took care of some of the losses.

Most know this already...

Column 2 only contains 4 red and,
Column 3 only contains 4 black.

When I bet red I also bet column 1 and 2.
When I bet black I also bet column 1 and 3.

I also used a positive progression on the columns
regardless if color won or lost.

1, 1.5, 2, 1.5, 1

I was down 110 this morning when I switched to
color/column bets and quit at +35.

Note: I would advise not to place a bet on all three:
color/dozen/column, because there are too many
uncovered numbers and it's harder to recover from
a total loss.

Note: The more I play the more I see the need for
flexibility, meaning sometimes the trend dictates a
change from betting color and dozens to color and
columns, or color and double streets, or color and
hi/low. And even betting against the trend, sometimes
the trend is a different dozen for 15-20 spins. And at
times, RBRBRB, I just sit out and don't bet.
