I found the following paragraphs very much disturbing   and 'discretion to the viewers under 25' must be advised.    The entire post should be credited to Wally Gator.

Yesterday I was toying with a few ideas and came up with the following:

1.  Did you know that if you started with $100 bucks and made 1% of that ($1.00) and then the next day added the 1% to your $100 bucks and then made 1% of that the next day, and so on and so forth, at the end of 1 year your $100 bucks would be $3,703.90?

2.  Did you know that if you did the same thing at the end of 2 years your $100 bucks would be worth $126,691.18?

3.  And, did you know that if you continued, at the end of 3 years your $100 bucks would be worth $5,287,635.92?

4.  Did you know that time is going to pass by regardless of whether you are making 1% of your money daily?

5.  Did you know that the ultra wealthy make the majority of their money using the power of compounded interest?  While we may be sitting in front of a roulette table, they are sitting in front of their own table figuring out how to make that 1% for the day.

6.  Did you know the ultra wealthy are mostly C students who saw opportunity and accepted that there would be risks involved and decided to take the risk?  Calculated and educated risks.  The most cautious of them work very hard to make 1% of their money on a daily basis.  They know that as that money builds it will take less and less risk to make more and they will have gained the discipline to do that because they are doing it every day.  Although the outcome is much higher, the risk has remained the same.  They are simply now using billions of dollars as opposed to hundreds of dollars.  But, it's still only a risk of working to gain 1% each and every day.

7.  Did you know that in the history of the world there have been exceptionally few 'overnight' successes, while there have been millions of 'overnight' disasters?

8.  Would you agree that it's possible, perhaps even easy, to walk into a casino or play online with $100 bucks and make $1?  If so, then you would agree that it's possible, perhaps even easy, to walk in with $100K and walk out with $1K, right?  And, it would be just as easy to walk in with $1M and gain that 1%, or $10K, get my point?

9.  Where do you want to be in 3 years with your $100 bucks?

I wish each of your the most prosperous 2009.

I only live 15 minutes away from a casino. Do me a favor if you could (I'm tired as heck, its 1:15am), starting BR of $500, playing four days per week for one year. 2% goal per visit.

Thanks, Ken
Watch us big doggs, the MEN, play at a REAL casino, on a REAL table. All we ask is that you stay out of our way. The rest? Bots, airball, RNG...that's more for the Kitty Kat Klub. I haven't been able to do this.  If you risk your 100 dollars (or units) you will probably win your 1% most of the time but there will be times you will lose your bank (100 units) and your end result will be in line with the house edge over the player.

Catalyst, thanks so much for revisiting this post.

So, it's been just about 3 years since that post, I should be up just about $5M, right?  Well, not quite.  But, I must say that I'm happy with where I am at with my winnings.  Often times, life gets in the way and we have to roll with it.  It's not any different with our gaming experiences.

I wish there were a single or even a dozen or so strategies out there to provide every individual consistent winnings, but we all know how illusive they can be.  And, that's not to say consistently winning is out of reach.  It really comes down to your gut.  Having enough experience playing enough strategies and knowing how each responds to any given event is key.  Most important is knowing what strategies fit your particular personality.

Dear WALLY

I have yet to find anyone who has attempted to win 1 unit per day who has done it.

I have wondered if you might be able to set a 10 unit loss vs a 1 unit win and finish the year averaging 1 unit per day.

How about 30 units each month?  If we could do that, then all we have to do is string together 12 months of wins and we have a year.

What if we shot for 365 units in a year.  Use all the bank you want.  If you are winning, that should be doable.

By the way, there's a bit of a difference between 1 unit and 1%.  1% I think is much harder to do than 1 unit.  Although they both are difficult targets to achieve.

Any one doing  365 a year?

If so, do you play for a set amount each day? week? month?

If so, care to inform the rest of us how you do it.

GLC
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

I found this 1% strategy fascinating to study, and think about.

And I wondered this:-

Would any others like to join with me, and test this sequence out to the max?

In other words, we would all take 100 units (be that GBP, Dollar, Euro. AUS$).. and make 1% profit of the bankroll each and every day, for 365 days.

The theory being, after 365 days we should all have approx 3000 units.

Now I could be strict on the entry criteria, but I have thought that some could join in 'down the line' so to speak, if they did not want to play along from the very beginning.

We take our 100 units, and we all have to play every day, for that 1% increase.... then stop!

U may have a particular account You could use for it, or open one at your fav casino in your Misses name, whatever floats your boat.

I'm willing to go for it, and dedicate 365 days of play solely to this cause.

Any takers?

(I would open up a new topic, and write out the progression list for the 1%)

I think of it differently,, I have to drive 2 hours to a casino and work with bankrolls. I want at least 3 for each thing i'm doing... If i win I put some towards a new bankroll (when I build 4 I can make my opening bet larger or add a separate system into play)...... The rest I blow on fun ,trips. college tuition for kids etc ....
